Abstract

A restaurant or eating house is a business providing food and beverage services equipped with equipment and supplies for the manufacturing, storage and serving process in a fixed place that does not move with the aim of making a profit or gain. KMeans clustering is a non-hierarchical data clustering method by partitioning existing data into one or more clusters or groups, so that data that has the same characteristics is grouped into the same cluster and data that has different characteristics is grouped. into other groups and the data used in this research is sales data at the Acasia Dine & Bar restaurant for 10 months which aims to analyze the suitability of the food and drink categories that customers at Acasia Dine & Bar are interested in. Point of Sales (POS) can be interpreted as a place or point where sellers and buyers carry out transactions. Initially POS was used by sellers to make it easier to record buying and selling transactions such as printing shopping receipts, saving money. For this research, the author used sales data from the Acasia Dine & Bar restaurant and also data from customer data at the restaurant. Based on the 5 clusters obtained from the lowest data, Cluster 4 with a value of 0, the highest data for Cluster 2 with a value of 1, medium data for Cluster 3 with a value of 0.786, average data for Cluster 1 with a value of 0.610, and Cluster 0 with a value of 0.180. Keywords : POS, Point of Sales, Restaurant, Clutser, K-Means Clutsering Restoran atau rumah makan merupakan suatu usaha penyediaan jasa makanan dan minuman dilengkapi dengan peralatan dan perlengkapan untuk proses pembuatan, penyimpanan dan penyajian di suatu tempat tetap yang tidak berpindah-pindah dengan tujuan memperoleh keuntungan atau laba. K-Means clustering sebagai salah satu metode data clustering non-hirarki dengan mempartisi data yang ada ke dalam bentuk satu atau lebih cluster atau kelompok, sehingga data yang memiliki karakteristik yang sama dikelompokkan ke dalam satu cluster yang sama dan data yang mempunyai karakteristik yang berbeda dikelompokkan ke dalam kelompok yang lain dan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data penjualan pada restoran Acasia Dine & Bar selama 10 bulan yang bertujuan untuk menganalisa kesesuaian kategori makanan dan minuman yang diminati oleh para pelanggan di Acasia Dine & Bar. Point of Sales(POS) dapat diartikan sebagai tempat atau titik dimana penjual dan pembeli melakukan transaksi. Pada awalnya POS digunakan oleh penjual untuk memudahkan dalam pencatatan transaksi jual beli seperti mencetak struk belanja, menyimpan uang. Untuk penelitian ini penulis menggunakan data penjualan dari restoran Acasia Dine & Bar dan juga data dari data pelanggan pada restoran tesebut. Berdasarkan dari 5 Cluster yang didapat dari data terendah Cluster 4 dengan nilai 0, data tertinggi Cluster 2 dengan nilai 1, data sedang Cluster 3 dengan nilai 0,786 , data rata-rata Cluster 1 dengan nilai 0,610, dan Cluster 0 dengan nilai 0,180.
