Abstract

The development of the film industry is now increasingly rapid, many films are adapted from social issues circulating in society. The example is presenting conflicts in the family that are initiated by less open communication, giving rise to a process called the Communication Climate. The climate of communication element in the film Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini can include several aspects that affect the way the characters in the film communicate and interact with each other. These aspects are in dialogue that can reflect various situations and relationships between family members, such as closeness or even tension, besides facial expressions, non-verbal movements can affect the climate of communication that occurs in the scene in the film, then there are visual elements that can be examined, such as lighting The use of dark or bright lighting, certain colors, or intentional visual composition can give a certain feel and affect the audience's interpretation of the scene or the relationship between characters, shooting and spatial setting also affect the audience's interpretation in taking the meaning contained in the film Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini. The purpose of this study was to analyze the construction and meaning of climate communication in families in the film Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini, using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis method with the theory of meaning triangles to find climate-related signs of communication. In the process of collecting data, this study uses an analysis unit in the form of observation of scenes contained in the NKCTHI film and looks for units related to the climate dimension of communication, which produces a sign construction of meaning so that it can be concluded that the dimensions of the communication climate are Supportiveness, Participative Decision Making, Truth Confidence Crebelity, Openess and Candor, High Performance Goals. The five elements of the climate dimension of communication can be found in the film Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini. Keywords : Semiotic Analysis, Climate Communication, Family, Communication, Meaning Perkembangan industri perfilman kini semakin pesat, banyak film diadaptasi dari isu-isu sosial yang beredar di Masyarakat. Salah satu contohnya adalah menyajikan konflik dalam keluarga yang diawali oleh komunikasi yang kurang terbuka sehingga menimbulkan suatu proses yang disebut sebagai Iklim Komunikasi. Unsur iklim komunikasi dalam film Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini dapat mencakup beberapa aspek yang mempengaruhi cara karakter dalam film berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi satu sama lain. Aspek-aspek tersebut adalah dalam dialog yang dapat mencerminkan berbagai situasi dan hubungan antar anggota keluarga, seperti kedekatan atau bahkan ketegangan, selain itu ekspresi wajah, gerakan non verbal dapat mempengaruhi iklim komunikasi yang terjadi pada adegan di film tersebut, lalu terdapat unsur visual yang bisa diteliti, seperti pencahayaan Penggunaan pencahayaan yang gelap atau terang, warna-warna tertentu, atau komposisi visual yang disengaja dapat memberikan nuansa tertentu dan mempengaruhi interpretasi penonton terhadap adegan atau hubungan antar karakter, pengambilan gambar dan setting ruang juga mempengaruhi interpretasi penonton dalam mengambil makna yang terdapat pada film Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis konstruksi dan makna iklim komunikasi dalam keluarga di film Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini, dengan menggunakan metode analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce dengan teori segitiga makna untuk menemukan tanda terkait iklim komunikasi. Dalam proses pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menggunakan unit analisis berupa observasi scene-scene yang terdapat pada film NKCTHI dan mencari unit yang berhubungan dengan dimensi iklim komunikasi, yang menghasilkan suatu konstruksi tanda atas makna sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dimensi iklim komunikasi yaitu Supportiveness, Participative Decision Making, Truth Confidence Credibelity, Openess and Candor, High Performance Goals. Kelima unsur dimensi iklim komunikasi tersebut dapat ditemukan pada film Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini. Kata Kunci : Analisis Semiotika, Iklim Komunikasi, Keluarga, Komunikasi, Makna
