Abstract
This research aims to analyze and examine the role of intrinsic motivation in teacher well-being. This research uses a quantitative descriptive design method with a correlational approach and uses a questionnaire to collect the data. The sampling technique in this research was non-probability sampling using an incidental sampling method and the subjects of this research were 250 PAUD teacher respondents in Jabodetabek. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale using the adapted Teacher Well-Being Scale (TWBS) measuring tool from Collie et al., (2015), as well as the Motivational Orientations to Teach Survey (MOT-S) from Sinclair (2008). The results show that the simple linear regression value shows a sig value of 0.008 <0.05 and an R square value of 0.028, and it can be concluded that intrinsic motivation plays a 2.8% role in teacher well-being and the rest is influenced by other factors. And the level of categorization of the intrinsic motivation and teacher well-being variables is at a high level. Keywords: Intrinsic Motivation, Teacher Well-being, PAUD Teacher Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganilis dan mengkaji bagaimana peran intrinsic motivation dalam teacher well-being. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu non-probability sampling dengan menggunakan metode sampling incidental dan terdapat sebanyak 250 responden guru PAUD yang ada di Jabodetabek. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dengan skala likert menggunakan alat ukur adaptasi Teacher Well-Being Scale (TWBS) dari Collie et al., (2015), serta Motivational Orientations to Teach Survey (MOT-S) dari Sinclair (2008). Hasil menunjukan bahwa nilai regresi linear sederhana menunjukan nilai sig 0,008 < 0,05 dan nilai R square sebesar 0,028, dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa intrinsic motivation berperan sebesar 2,8% dalam teacher well-being dan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain.
