Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara perilaku prososial dengan psychological well-being pada dewasa awal. Pada penelitian ini melibatkan 237 responden dewasa awal dengan rentang usia 20-40 tahun yang berdomisili di wilayah Jakarta dan Kota Bekasi sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian kuantitatif ini dilakukan dengan metode korelasional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan non-probability sampling dan teknik accidental sampling. Pada variabel perilaku prososial menggunakan alat instrument Prosocial Tendencies Measure (PTM) dan variabel psychological well- being menggunakan instrument Ryff's Psychological well-being Scale (RPWB) versi Indonesia. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,163 dengan nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah 0.012 < 0.05, sehingga mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat hubungan dan signifikan antara perilaku prososial dengan psychological well-being pada dewasa awal yang berdomisili diwilayah Jakarta dan Kota Bekasi dengan kategori hubungan sangat rendah. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing whether there is a relationship between prosocial behavior and psychological well-being in early adulthood. This study involved 237 early adult respondents with an age range of 20-40 years who live in the Jakarta and Bekasi City areas as research subjects. This quantitative research was conducted using the correlational method. Sampling was carried out using non-probability sampling and accidental sampling techniques. On the prosocial behavior variable using the Prosocial Tendencies Measure (PTM) instrument and the psychological well-being variable using the Indonesian version of Ryff's Psychological well-being Scale (RPWB) instrument. The results of the study obtained a correlation coefficient value of 0.163 with a significance value obtained is 0.012 <0.05, thus revealing that there is a significant relationship between prosocial behavior and psychological well-being in early adults who live in the Jakarta and Bekasi City areas with a very low relationship category.
