Abstract
PT AGC – Automotive Division is a manufacturing company that operates in the field of car glass, including windshields. In making car glass, there are problems, namely uncertainty in the quantity and timing of customer requests, which requires a smooth supply of raw materials for making car glass. Therefore, companies need to control raw materials well to minimize inventory and consider the smooth production process with inventory to avoid material shortages. The object of this research is a windshield which has a dependent supply model. The aim of this research is to design an inventory system based on information technology to simplify the order process and recording process as well as automatic transaction processing so that all transactions become faster and more accurate as a support for inventory control. The calculation of inventory requirements will also be changed from the conventional method currently carried out, namely based on the assumption of the highest demand quantity, to using the Material Requirement Planning method. Keywords: Inventory Control System, Barcode, Robot Process Automation, Material Requirement Planning (MRP) PT AGC – Divisi Otomotif merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang kaca mobil, termasuk kaca depan. Dalam pembuatan kaca mobil terdapat permasalahan yaitu ketidakpastian jumlah dan waktu permintaan pelanggan sehingga memerlukan kelancaran pasokan bahan baku pembuatan kaca mobil. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan perlu melakukan pengendalian bahan baku dengan baik untuk meminimalkan persediaan dan mempertimbangkan kelancaran proses produksi dengan persediaan untuk menghindari kekurangan bahan. Objek penelitian ini adalah kaca depan yang mempunyai model persediaan dependen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem persediaan yang berbasis teknologi informasi untuk mempermudah proses order dan proses pencatatan serta pengolahan transaksi secara otomatis sehingga seluruh transaksi menjadi lebih cepat dan akurat sebagai penunjang di dalam pengontrolan persediaan. Perhitungan kebutuhan persediaan juga akan dirubah dari metode konvensional yang saat ini dilakukan yaitu berdasarkan asumsi jumlah permintaan tertinggi menjadi menggunakan metode Material Requirement Planning Kata Kunci : Inventory Control System, Barcode, Robot Process Automation, Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
