Abstract
In the last few months, the city of Bandung has experienced the El Nino phenomenon, a weather phenomenon that occurs due to an increase in surface air temperatures in the Central and Eastern Pacific Ocean, which has become warmer than usual. This natural phenomenon causes changes in global weather patterns, which have a significant impact on the climate in various regions of the world, including Indonesia. several significant impacts in Indonesia These include drought, lack of clean water, crop failure, and forest and land fires. Another impact of El Nino is a weather anomaly that causes flooding and severe storms. Architecture is a product of capitalism, meaning architecture is driven by capital. If we talk about architecture, it has a lot to do with money, which is considered taboo by some people, when it comes to money matters. In fact, without money, architecture cannot be built. The Bioclimatic MICE concept is one of the design approaches chosen, namely desire and dialogue with the climate. So this building will use as little artificial energy as possible so that it will have a big impact on the capital of this building for the long term into the future. We made the MICE KAI building a unique green building that is not too formal but in accordance with the rules and hierarchy of MICE building standards. So it is hoped that other buildings will follow the Bioclimatic approach concept. This Bioclimatic concept can reduce the use of electrical energy so that it can reduce operational costs by 50-75%. This building can also be rented out for various events from outside, such as meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions. Various events and co-working space and F&B are also available so that it is profitable and can be used for operational maintenance of this building. Keywords: MICE, KAI, El Nino, Bioclimatic Architecture, Sustainability Kota Bandung dalam beberapa bulan terakhir mengalami fenomena El Nino sebuah fenomena cuaca yang terjadi akibat peningkatan suhu permukaan air di Samudra Pasifik Tengah dan Timur yang menjadi lebih hangat dari biasanya. Fenomena alami ini menyebabkan perubahan pola cuaca global, yang berdampak signifikan pada iklim diberbagai wilayah di dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. beberapa dampak yang signifikan di Indonesia. Di antaranya kekeringan, kekurangan air bersih, gagal panen, serta kebakaran hutan dan lahan. Dampak lain El Nino ialah anomali cuaca yang menyebabkan banjir dan badai hebat. Arsitektur merupakan produk kapitalisme, artinya arsitektur yang digerakkan oleh modal. Jika kita berbicara tentang arsitektur, itu sangat berkaitan dengan uang, yang dianggap tabu oleh sebagian orang, jika menyangkut masalah uang. Faktanya, tanpa uang, arsitektur tidak dapat dibangun. Konsep MICE Bioklimatik merupakan salah satu pendekatan desain yang dipilih,yaitu keberlanjutan dan dialog dengan iklim. Jadi gedung ini akan menggunakan energi buatan sesedikit mungkin sehingga akan berdampak besar pada permodalan gedung ini untuk jangka panjang ke depan. Kita jadikan bangunan MICE KAI ini green building unik dan tidak terlalu formal namun sesuai dengan kaidah dan hirarki pada standart gedung MICE. Sehingga diharapkan bangunan yang lainnya akan mengikuti dengan konsep pendekatan Bioklimatik. Konsep Bioklimatik ini bisa mengurangi penggunaan energi listrik sehingga dapat menekan biaya operasional 50-75%. Dalam bangunan ini juga bisa di sewakan untuk berbagai acara dari luar, Seperti Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exibition berbagai acara dan tersedia juga Co- working space dan F&B sehingga menguntungkan dan bisa untuk operasional maintenance bangunan gedung ini.
