Abstract
School supplies are essential for students. In the digital era, online shopping has become the primary choice due to its convenience. School supply stores need online adaptation to stay competitive. Content-based filtering algorithms are applied to enhance product sales effectiveness by providing personalized recommendations based on consumer preferences. Through a quantitative descriptive method, sales data and consumer preferences are collected. The algorithm implementation involves calculating product similarities and providing personalized recommendations. System evaluation is conducted to measure the success of the implementation. The results indicate the potential for increased sales effectiveness in school supply stores through content-based filtering algorithms. Implementing this solution offers significant benefits, including improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, as well as expedited product search processes. This solution can be adopted by other stores to enhance competitiveness in the increasingly competitive online market. By continuously optimizing methods and keeping up with technological advancements, school supply stores can remain relevant and successful in the e-commerce era. Di era digital, belanja online menjadi pilihan utama karena praktis. Toko perlengkapan sekolah perlu adaptasi online untuk tetap bersaing. Algoritma content-based filtering diterapkan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penjualan produk dengan merekomendasikan secara personal berdasarkan preferensi konsumen. Melalui metode deskriptif kuantitatif, data penjualan dan preferensi konsumen dikumpulkan. Implementasi algoritma dilakukan dengan menghitung similarity produk dan memberikan rekomendasi personal. Evaluasi sistem dilakukan untuk mengukur keberhasilan implementasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan potensi peningkatan efektivitas penjualan produk toko perlengkapan sekolah melalui algoritma content-based filtering. Penerapan solusi ini memberikan manfaat signifikan, termasuk peningkatan kepuasan pelanggan dan loyalitas, serta percepatan proses pencarian produk. Solusi ini juga dapat diadopsi oleh toko-toko lain untuk meningkatkan daya saing di pasar online yang semakin ketat. Dengan terus mengoptimalkan metode dan mengikuti perkembangan teknologi, toko perlengkapan sekolah dapat tetap relevan dan sukses di era e-commerce.
