Abstract

ABSTRAK Setiap orang memiliki cara yang berbeda-beda dalam mengatasi dan menanggapi masalah yang mereka alami. Sebagian orang memiliki masalah yang mereka rasa mereka tidak sanggup lagi untuk menahannya. Orang-orang tersebut berpikir bahwa lebih baik menggunakan cara yang buruk untuk bertahan, atau mengakhiri hidupnya dibandingkan harus hidup dalam penderitaan yang tiada akhir. Film pendek ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan realita bahwa mengakhiri hidup bukan suatu keputusan yang bijak. Melalui film pendek ini, penulis ingin menyampaikan kesadaran tentang pentingnya kesejahteraan mental. Permasalahan yang dihadapi karakter utama dalam film tersebut mencerminkan masalah nyata yang dialami oleh banyak orang. Film Pendek “Sintas" mempunyai durasi 28 menit yang menceritakan tentang seorang mahasiswa yang sedang mengalami sulit dan kerasnya hidup setelah kepergian ayahnya, ia harus terus berjuang mencari cara untuk bertahan hidup agar bisa menafkahi ibunya yang sedang mengalami sakit dan 1 adiknya yang masih duduk dibangku SD. Kuliah, kerja, mengurus ibu dan adik harus dikerjakan semua olehnya seorang diri bersamaan dengan kisah percintaanya yang sangat rumit membuatnya menjadi depresi dan ingin menyerah dalam kehidupan ini. Penyunting gambar harus melewati tiga tahap beberapa proses mulai dari pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi yang dimana itu menjadi jalannya pembuatan film pendek tersebut. Metode aplikatif film pendek praproduksi ini dengan menyiapkan segala kebutuhan untuk membuat film pendek dari alat hingga talent untuk di briefring atau reading. Metode aplikatif film pendek produksi adalah saat menjalankannya. Kata Kunci : Film Pemdek, Drama Keluarga, Penyunting Gambar. ABSTRACT Everyone has a different way of coping and responding to the problems they experience. Some people have problems that they feel they can no longer bear. These people think that it is better to use bad means to survive, or end their lives than to have to live in endless suffering. This short film aims to portray the reality that ending a life is not a wise decision. Through this short film, the author wants to convey awareness about the importance of mental well-being. The problems faced by the main characters in the film reflect the real problems experienced by many people. The short film "Sintas" has a duration of 28 minutes which tells the story of a student who is experiencing the hardships and rigors of life after the departure of his father, he must continue to struggle to find a way to survive in order to provide for his mother who is experiencing illness and 1 younger brother who is still in elementary school. College, work, taking care of his mother and sister must all be done by him alone along with his very complicated love story making him become depressed and want to give up in this life. Image editors must go through three stages of several processes starting from pre-production, production, and post-production which is the course of making the short film. This pre-production short film applicative method prepares all the needs to make short films from tools to talents for briefing or reading.
