Abstract

Saat ini, isu kesehatan mental masih sering diabaikan oleh masyarakat. Menurut data dari I-NAMHS, kebijakan pembatasan kontak sosial selama pandemi COVID19 telah mengakibatkan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan mental, seperti depresi, kecemasan, perasaan kesepian, dan kesulitan berkonsentrasi. Bahkan, setidaknya satu dari 20 remaja di Indonesia mengalami masalah kesehatan mental. Pembuatan film pendek ini memiliki tujuan utama untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat akan pentingnya masalah kesehatan mental. Dengan demikian, diharapkan masyarakat bisa mencegah dampak buruk yang timbul akibat gangguan kesehatan mental ini dan mencari solusi yang efektif. Melalui karya film pendek ini, penulis berupaya memberikan pengetahuan, inspirasi, dan motivasi kepada penonton. Film pendek yang berjudul "SINTAS" memiliki durasi 28 menit dan diperankan oleh Faturachman sebagai Aryo serta Aura sebagai Amira. Cerita dalam film ini mengisahkan seorang mahasiswa yang menghadapi tantangan berat dalam hidupnya setelah kepergian ayahnya. Dia harus terus berjuang mencari cara untuk bertahan hidup dan merawat ibunya yang sedang sakit, serta adiknya yang masih duduk di bangku SD. Selaku penata kamera, penulis berperan dalam mengubah naskah cerita yang berbentuk tulisan menjadi sebuah karya audio visual. Hal ini melibatkan penggunaan teknik-teknik khusus, seperti sudut pengambilan gambar dan sinematografi, tanpa mengabaikan pesan-pesan moral yang telah tertanam dalam naskah cerita. Kata Kunci: film pendek, drama keluarga, penata kamera. Currently, the issue of mental health is often overlooked by society. According to data from I-NAMHS, the policy of social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in negative impacts on mental health, such as depression, anxiety, feelings of loneliness, and difficulty concentrating. In fact, at least one out of every 20 teenagers in Indonesia experiences mental health problems. The main goal of creating this short film is to increase public understanding of the importance of mental health issues. Thus, it is hoped that we can prevent the negative consequences of these mental health disorders and find effective solutions. Through this short film, the writer aims to provide knowledge, inspiration, and motivation to the audience. The short film, titled "SINTAS," has a duration of 28 minutes and is portrayed by Faturachman as Aryo and Aura as Amira. The story in the film depicts a college student facing significant challenges in life after the loss of his father. He must continue to strive to find ways to survive and care for his sick mother, as well as his younger sibling who is still in elementary school. As the director of photography, the writer plays a role in transforming the written script into an audiovisual work. This involves the use of specialized techniques, such as camera angles and cinematography, without neglecting the moral messages embedded in the script.
