Abstract

In the world of construction, the timely completion of a project is an indicator of efficiency. However, the construction process depends on many factors that support the project so that there are no delays. The research in this paper aims to identify the common factors that cause delays; and to assess hierarchically the causes of delays in construction projects. This research is based on two research methodological approaches, namely, literature review mapping, and questionnaires. These two methods act as a supplement to each other which makes data collection more comprehensive. From the factors that have been identified, through a literature review mapping from previous studies, a structured questionnaire has been designed and distributed randomly. Data were analyzed using Statistical Software Package (SPSS). The purpose of this study is to find the main factors that cause delays in work on the Motor Showroom Development project of PT. X Denpasar Branch. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative by determining the research variables based on previous journals. There can be one factor that is the most dominant cause of delays in the implementation of the construction of the Motor Showroom PT. X Denpasar Branch results from data processing with SPSS version 25 is the time factor and control (Schedulling and Controlling techniques). The study of the causes of delays in project implementation is recommended to the parties involved in construction so that they can pay more attention to the factors that can affect the implementation of project work so that unexpected things such as delays in project implementation can control project delays effectively and efficiently. Keywords : Construction, Control, Denpasar, Factors for tardiness, Questionnaire, SPSS Dalam dunia kontruksi, penyelesaian suatu proyek tepat waktu adalah sebuah indikator efisiensi. Akan tetapi proses konstrukstri bergantung kepada banyak faktor yang mendukung agar proyek tersebut tidak terjadi keterlambatan. Penelitian pada makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor umum yang menyebabkan keterlambatan; dan untuk menilai secara hirarki penyebab-penyebab keterlambatan dalam proyek konstruksi. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada dua pedekatan metodologi penelitian antara lain pemetaan tinjauan pustaka, dan kuesioner. Kedua metode ini bertindak sebagai suplemen satu sama lain yang membuat pengumpulan data yang lebih komprehensif. Dari faktor-faktor yang sudah diidentifikasi, melalui mapping literature review dari penelitian sebelumnya, sebuah kuesioner terstruktur telah didesain dan didistribusikan secara acak. Data dianalisa dengan menggunakan Statistical Software Package (SPSS). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari faktor utama yang menyebabkan keterlambatan pekerjaan pada proyek Pembangunan Showroom Motor PT. X Cabang Denpasar. Metode Penelitian yang di gunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menentukan variabel penelitian berdasarkan jurnal-jurnal terdahulu. Di dapat ada satu faktor yang paling dominan penyebab keterlambatan pelaksanaan pembangunan Showroom Motor PT. X Cabang Denpasar hasil dari olah data dengan SPSS versi 25 adalah Faktor waktu dan kontrol (Schedulling and Controlling techniques). Kajian penyebab keterlambatan pelaksanaan proyek ini disarankan kepada pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam konstruksi agar dapat lebih memperhatikan lagi faktor-faktor yang dapat berpengaruh dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan proyek agar hal-hal yang tidak diharapkan seperti keterlambatan pelaksanaan proyek dapat mengendalikan keterlambatan proyek secara efektif dan efisien.
