Abstract
This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of leadership, reward and development on employee engagement of ESQ Group’s employees. The research data is primary data and secondary data for the observation period in 2016. The technique of collecting data through observation, the initial surveys, and quetionnaires. The sampling method is disproportionate cluster random sampling. From a population 231 respondents who meet the criteria to be sampled, with the formula slovin obtained 146 respondents. The analytical method used in this study using multiple linear regression and determination. The results showed leadership, reward, and development together (simultaneously) significantly affect the employee engagement of ESQ Group’s employees. Partially leadership and reward have a significant positive effect on employee engagement with low correlation, while partially development doesn’t have a significant effect on the employee engagement. Leadership is a variable with greatest influence on employee engagement of ESQ Group’s employees. Keywords : leadership, reward, development, employee engagement Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan, penghargaan dan pengembangan terhadap employee engagement karyawan ESQ Group. Data penelitian adalah data primer dan data sekunden untuk periode observasi tahun 2016. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, survey awal dan penyebaran kuesioner. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah disproportionated cluster random sampling. Dari populasi 231 responden yang memenuhi kriteria menjadi sampel, dengan rumus slovin didapatkan 146 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear berganda dan determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kepemimpinan, penghargaan, dan pengembangan secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap employee engagement karyawan ESQ Group. Secara parsial kepemimpinan dan penghargaan berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap employee engagement dengan korelasi rendah, sedangkan secara parsial pengembangan tidak signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap employee engagement. Kepemimpinan merupakan variabel paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap employee engagement karyawan ESQ Group. Kata Kunci : Kepemimpinan, Penghargaan, Pengembangan, Employee Engagement
