Abstract

ABSTRAK Masalah dalam sebuah hubungan merupakan hal yang tidak dapat dihindari. Namun, tidak sedikit orang yang memiliki hubungan yang tidak sehat dengan pasangannya. Jenis hubungan tidak sehat ini dikenal dengan istilah “toxic relationship”. Toxic relationship memiliki dampak yang buruk dan berpotensi merusak individu yang berada di dalamnya, seperti kehilangan kepercayaan diri, kerusakan fisik, kerusakan di hubungan mendatang, hingga gangguan kesehatan mental. Pembuatan film pendek yang mengangkat isu tentang toxic relationship bertujuan sebagai penerangan dan infomasi kepada penonton terkait permasalahan hubungan percintaan di kalangan remaja. Melalui film ini, penulis selaku editor berperan untuk menyajikan hasil penyuntingan gambar agar sesuai dengan pesan yang ingin dibawakan ke penonton. Editor membantu menjadikan visi sutradara menjadi kenyataan dan memberikan bentuk akhir kepada cerita yang ingin diungkapkan Peran editor dalam pembuatan film pendek yaitu bertanggung jawab untuk menggabungkan dan menyunting rekaman-rekaman yang diambil selama proses syuting menjadi sebuah narasi yang baik dan menarik. Berdasarkan proses pembuatan tugas akhir aplikatif dapat disimpulkan bahwa penulis sebagai editor melakukan kemampuan dasar editing seperti penggunaan Rhytmic Montages, Cut Away, Colour Grading, dan juga Sync Audio. Kata Kunci: Film Pendek, Toxic Relatioship, Editor ABSTRACT Problems in a relationship are something that cannot be avoided. However, there are quite a few people who have unhealthy relationships with their partners. This type of unhealthy relationship is known as a “toxic relationship.” Toxic relationships have negative impacts and have the potential to damage the individuals in them, such as loss of self-confidence, physical damage, damage to future relationships, and even mental health problems. The aim of making this short film which raises the issue of Toxic Relationships is to provide information and insight to the audience regarding the problems of romantic relationships among teenagers. Through this film, the writer as editor plays the role of presenting the results of image editing so that it matches the message to be conveyed to the audience. Editors help realize the director's vision and give final shape to the story they want to deliver The role of an editor in making a short film is to be responsible for combining and editing the footage taken during the shooting process into a good and interesting narrative. Based on the process of making an applicable final assignment, it can be concluded that the writer as editor carries out basic editing skills such as using Rhythmic Montages, Cut Away, Color Grading, and also Sync Audio.
