Abstract

ABSTRAK Feature merupakan salah satu program tayangan yang mengandung unsur pesan, hiburan, dan Pendidikan. Dalan penulisan ini membahas mengenai peran seorang editor yang harus mempunyai ide-ide kreatif yang dapat mengolah hasil produksi menjadi sebuah tayangan audio video visual yang dapat memberikan kesan untuk penonton melalui teknik editing kompilasi. Pada dasarnya editing adalah proses menyusun, memanipulasi dan merangkai ulang rekaman video (master tape) menjadi suatu rangkaian cerita yang baru (sesuai naskah) dengan memberikan penambahan tulisan, gambar, atau suara sehingga mudah dimengerti dan dinikmati oleh penonton. Feature “Jalan Jalan Kuy” program ini memberikan sebuah tayangan informasi dan edukasi tentang destinasi wisata di berbagai daerah melalui. Mulai dari wisata sejarah, wisata kuliner, dan wisata kekinian di setiap episodenya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam proses pembuatan feature tidak terlepas dari peran seorang editor yang berfokus pada proses pasca produksi melalui tahapan-tahapan editing offline, editing online sampai selesai dan menghasilkan sebuah tayangan yang dapat dinikmati penonton. Kata kunci: Editor, Editing, Peran Editor ABSTRACT Feature is a broadcast program that contains elements of messages, entertainment and education. In this article, we will discuss the role of an editor who must have creative ideas that are able to process production results into an audio video visual show that is able to make an impression on the audience through compilation editing techniques. Basically, editing is the process of arranging, manipulating and rearranging video recordings (master tape) into a new series of stories (according to the script) by adding writing, images or sound so that they are easily understood and enjoyed by the audience. The "Jalan Jalan Kuy" feature of this program provides information and education about tourist destinations in various regions through. Starting from historical tourism, culinary tourism, to contemporary tourism in each episode. It can be concluded that the process of making a feature cannot be separated from the role of an editor who focuses on the post-production process through the stages of offline editing, online editing until completion and producing a show that can be enjoyed by the audience.
