Abstract

Seseorang Sutradara dalam sebuah produksi drama televisi atau film yang memegang tanggung jawab tertinggi terhadap aspek kreatif, baik yang bersifat penafsiran maupun teknik pada pernbuatan film. seorang sutradara itu terlibat dari pra produksi hingga – pasca produksi, meskipun peran terbesar seorang sutradara itu pada saat produksi. Film pendek "Cermin Retak dan Berdebu" mempunyai durasi 20 menit, film ini menceritakan kehidupan seorang wanita bernama alika yang kesulitan dalam merasakan kebahagiaan. dengan trauma yang ia miliki bersamaan juga dengan kondisi ayahnya yang mengidap penyakit demensia, ia harus tetap menjalankan hidupnya meskipun dengan segala kesulitan yang hadapi, ia tidak pernah lagi merasakan sesuatu seperti senang, sedih, amarah merasa tidak memiliki arah tujuan hidup dan ia pun memulai perjalanannya dalam mencari dirinya kembali yang sudah lama hilang. Sampai pada akhirnya ia bertemu seseorag yang dapat mengubah hidupnya, orang yang membuka mata hatinya dengan fakta bahwa masih ada segelintir alasan untuk bertahan hidup. Berdasarkan hasil produksi film pendek “Cermin Retak dan Berdebu”, penulis sebagai sutradara bertugas untuk memimpin dan mengarahkan crew, talent, serta bertanggung jawab atas segala sesuatu yang terjadi di tiap-tiap adegan dalam produksi film. Ibaratnya, sutradara menjadi kepala kreatif dalam menerjemahkan apa yang ada di dalam naskah menjadi audio visual. Penulis sebagai sutradara sangat berperan penting dalam seluruh proses produksi film, mulai dari pra produksi, produksi, sampai pasca produksi. Kata Kunci : film pendek, cermin retak dan berdebu, sutradara Director is a person in a television drama or film production who holds ultimate responsibility for the creative aspects, both interpretive and technical in film production. A director is involved from pre-production to post-production, even though a director's biggest role is during production. The short film "Cracked and Dusty Mirror" has a duration of 20 minutes. This film tells the life of a woman named Alika who has difficulty feeling happiness. with the trauma he experienced along with the condition of his father who was suffering from dementia, he had to continue living his life despite all the difficulties he faced, he never again felt anything like happiness, sadness, anger, he felt he had no direction in life and he began his journey. in search of his long-lost self again. Until finally he met someone who could change his life, someone who opened his eyes to the fact that there were still a few reasons to survive. Based on the production of the short film "Mirror Cracked and Dusty", the writer as director is tasked with leading and directing the crew, talent, and is responsible for everything that happens in each scene in the film production. It's like, the director becomes the creative head in translating what is in the script into audio-visual.
