Abstract

Regulation of Ship Energy Efficiency Mangement Plan is a regulation issued by the International Maritime Organization since January 1, 2013. PT Samudera Indonesia Ship Management is one of the shipping company in Indonesia which have implemented such regulations. The analysis undertaken in this study was to optimize and compare the performance of the vessel while before doing a slow steaming item and after doing slow steaming item as well as maximize the potential of operating data of the vessel Sinar Solo in 2012 and 2016. The results of the analysis in this research concluded that the vessel Sinar Solo has done a good Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan regulation, which has been shown to decrease fuel consumption and gas emission by 11% in 2016. By using optimization method in Load Factor 40%(L/F 40%) will decrease fuel consumption and gas emission by 34%. The most decisive factor is the existence of success in conducting the present regulations is to minimize the use of load factor engine accordance with the advice of the engine maker to maintain engine performance remained good despite using the load factor is low (not optimal). Keywords : Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan, Slow Steaming, Samudera Indonesia Regulasi Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan adalah regulasi yang dikeluarkan oleh International Maritime Organization sejak 1 Januari tahun 2013. PT Samudera Indonesia Ship Management merupakan salah satu perusahaan pelayaran di Indonesia yang telah menerapkan regulasi tersebut. Analisa yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengoptimasikan serta membandingkan performa kapal saat sebelum melakukan item slow steaming dan setelah melakukan item slow steaming serta memaksimalkan potensi dari data operasi kapal Sinar Solo pada tahun 2012 dan tahun 2016. Hasil analisa pada penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kapal Sinar Solo telah melakukan regulasi Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan dengan baik yang telah dibuktikan penurunan penggunaan bahan bakar serta emisi gas buang sebesar 11% pada tahun 2016. Metode optimasi pada Load Factor 40% (L/F 40%) membuktikan bahwa terdapat penurunan bahan bakar serta emisi gas buang sebesar 34%. Faktor yang paling menentukan adanya keberhasilan dalam melakukan regulasi ini adalah meminimalkan penggunaan load factor engine sesuai dengan saran dari engine maker guna menjaga performa mesin tetap baik meskipun telah menggunakan load factor yang rendah (tidak optimal).
