Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Loneliness dengan kecenderungan depresi pada remaja akhir dengan orang tua yang bercerai. Remaja akhir dengan usia 17-22 tahun dimana diusia ini sedang mengalami masa transisi dan aktivitas yang signifikan. Pada remaja dengan orang tua bercerai sering kali merasakan tidak mendapatkan dukungan, merasa ditinggalkan, serta merasakan tekanan emosional sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan dinamika psikologis seperti kecenderungan depresi. Tekhnik pengambilan sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu non-probably sampling, menggunakan metode accidental sampling, penentuan sampel menggunakan software G-Power 3.1. Partisipan yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 156 responden remaja akhir dengan orang tua yang bercerai, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuesioner dengan dua alat ukur yaitu, skala Loneliness menggunakan Ucla Loneliness Scale (version 3) dan skala kecenderungan depresi menggunakan PHQ-9. Hasil pada penelitian ini menujukan bahwa variabel Loneliness dengan variabel depresi didapatkan nilai Sig. sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 dan Pearson Correlations sebesar 0.390. Artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Loneliness dan depresi. Selain itu usia dengan depresi memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan, hal lain yang bersignifikan adalah depresi yaitu responden dengan status hubungan menikah dan Loneliness yaitu responden dengan status hubungan menikah dan belum menikah. Apabila tingkat Loneliness pada Remaja Akhir semakin tinggi maka tingkat kecenderungan depresi yang terjadi akan semakin tinggi. Kata Kunci : Remaja Akhir, orang tua bercerai, depresi dan Loneliness. This research aims to determine the relationship between Loneliness and Depression tendencies in late adolescents with divorced parents. Late adolescents aged 17-22 years are experiencing a period of significant transition and activity. Adolescents with divorced parents often feel that they do not receive support, feel abandoned, and feel emotional pressure, which has the potential to cause psychological dynamics such as a tendency to Depression. The sampling technique used in this research is non-probably sampling, using the accidental sampling method, sample determination using G-Power 3.1 software. The participants in this study were 156 late adolescent respondents with divorced parents. This study used a questionnaire method with two measuring instruments, namely, a Loneliness scale using the Ucla Loneliness Scale (version 3) and a Depression tendency scale using the PHQ-9. The results of this study show that the Loneliness variable and the Depression variable obtained a Sig. of 0.000 < 0.05 and Pearson Correlations of 0.390. This means that there is a significant relationship between Loneliness and Depression. Apart from that, age and Depression have significant differences, another significant thing is Depression, namely respondents with married relationship status and Loneliness, namely respondents with married and unmarried relationship status. If the level of Loneliness in late adolescence is higher, the level of Depression tendencies that occur will be higher. Keywords: Late Adolescence, divorced parents, Depression and Loneliness.
