Abstract
Film is a picture of life, which is also often called a movie. Films are collectively often referred to as cinema. Live images are an art form. Films are produced by recordings of other people and objects with a camera, or by animation. The purpose of this study was to determine the meaning of the moral message in the film Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens. This research approach is qualitative, using qualitative content analysis method. Qualitative method as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. Data collection techniques are carried out by securing the contents of the film The results of the study show that the film illustrates that moral standards must be prioritized over other values including other interests. Moral standards are also associated with certain emotions. The moral standard that this film holds changes the thinking about the meaning of home which turns out to be Ali when he is in Ratu Ratu Ratu's apartment Keywords: Moral Message, Film, Family, Qualitative Content Analysis Film merupakan gambaran hidup, yang juga sering di sebut movie. Film secara kolektif sering di sebut sinema. Gambar hidup adalah bentuk seni. Film di hasilkan dengan rekaman dari orang lain dan benda dengan camera, atau oleh animasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui makna pesan moral dalam film Ali & Ratu Ratu Queens Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi kualitatif. Metode kualitatif sebagai prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis ataupun lisan dari orangorang dan perilaku yang diamati. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengamantan pada isi film Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam film tersebut menggambarkan bahwa standar moral harus lebih diutamakan dari pada nilai lain termasuk kepentingan lain. Standar moral juga diasosiasikan dengan emosi tertentu. Standar moral yang terapat film ini mengubah pemikiran tentang makna rumah yang ternyata Ali dapatkan saat ia berada di apartemen Ratu Ratu Queen.
