Abstract

The main problem of this research is to know the form of social communication between silver people and the surrounding environment, both silver humans and society, and people's perceptions of silver humans in the bustling area of West Jakarta. The subject matter is then broken down into several sub-problems or research questions, This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects in this study were Ten Silver Humans. Collecting data using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The phenomenon of social communication between silver humans and people in the environment has formed a subjective and objective meaning construction about adults, as well as the rules and principles that develop in the context of the streets. The public's perception of the existence of the silver man is relatively different between the views of people with upper class status and society in general or the lower layers. Most of the upper class people feel disturbed and uncomfortable, while the lower class people basically do not question the existence of the silver human. Key Word:Farming, Keywords: Social communication, silver man case study, community perception, West Jakarta City Pokok permasalahan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bentuk komunikasi sosial manusia silver terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya baik sesama manusia silver maupun terhadap masyarakat dan persepsi masyarakat terhadap manusia silver di kawasan ramai Jakarta Barat. Pokok masalah tersebut selanjutnya di-breakdown ke dalam beberapa submasalah atau pertanyaan penelitian, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Sepuluh Manusia silver. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasiFenomena komunikasi sosial manusia silver dengan orang-orang dalam lingkungan telah membentuk konstruksi makna secara subyektif dan obyektif tentang orang dewasa, serta aturan dan prinsip-prinsip yang berkembang dalam konteks jalanan. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan manusia silver relatif berbeda pandangan antara masyarakat yang berstatus kelas atas dengan masyarakat pada umumnya atau lapisan bawah. Untuk masyarakat kelas atas kebanyakan merasa terganggu dan tidak nyaman, sedangkan pada masyarakat kalangan bawah pada dasarnya tidak mempersoalkan keberadaan manusia silver.
