Abstract

This study aims to prove empirically the effect of Profitability, Liquidity, and Leverage on Financial distress. This research uses data from 19 Manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from period 2017 - 2021. Data for this study are selected using criteria and using purposive sampling method. The hypothesis in this study will be tested using multiple regression analysis and data were processed using Eviews versi 10. The results of this study show that Profitability and Liquidity have a positive effect on Financial distress, while Leverage have a negative effect on Financial distress. Keywords : Profitability, Liquidity, Leverage, and Financial distress Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh Profitabilitas, Likuiditas dan Leverage Terhadap Financial distress. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari 19 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia (BEI) dari periode 2017 – 2021. Data untuk penelitian ini dipilih menggunakan beberapa kriteria dan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini akan di uji menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dan data diolah menggunakan program Eviews versi 10. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Profitabilitas dan Likuiditas, memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Financial distress, sedangkan Leverage memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap Financial distress. Kata kunci : Profitabilitas, Likuiditas, Leverage, dan Financial distress
