Abstract
"KONTRADIKSI" is a comedy-drama short film that tells about. Contradiction is a comedy-drama short film about three friends named Nacing, Panjul and Dewi who commit acts of theft in a big house owned by a drug dealer. The process of making the film "KONTRADIKSI" cannot be separated from the Director of Photography (DOP). The DOP is the person who gives directions and is responsible for the correct placement of the cameras. In cinematography, there are several principles which are often referred to as the 5C Cinematography principles, with this principle a film can be in accordance with the wishes of the director, both conveying emotions, stories and also the message can be understood well by the audience. The author as DOP has gone through quite a long process from the pre-production, production to post-production stages. The writer has a very important role in turning the script into pictures and what tools need to be prepared to produce the film "KONTRADIKSI". Keywords: Short Films, Fiction, Cinematography “KONTRADIKSI” merupakan film pendek bergenre drama komedi yang menceritakan tentang . Kontradiksi merupakan film pendek bergenre drama komedi tentang tiga orang sahabat yang bernama Nacing, Panjul dan Dewi yang melakukan tindak aksi pencurian dalam sebuah rumah besar milik pengedar narkoba. Proses pembuatan film “KONTRADIKSI” tidak lepas dari seorang Director of Photography (DOP). DOP adalah seseorang yang memberi arahan dan bertanggung jawab atas ketepatan penempatan kamera. Dalam sinematografi, ada beberapa prinsip yang sering disebut dengan prinsip 5C Cinematography, dengan prinsip ini suatu film, dapat sesuai dengan keinginan sutradara, baik itu penyampaian emosi, cerita dan juga pesannya dapat dimengerti dengan baik oleh penonton. Penulis sebagai DOP telah melewati proses yang cukup panjang dari tahap pra produksi, produksi hingga pasca produksi. Penulis mempunyai peran yang sangat penting dalam mengubah naskah menjadi gambar dan alat apa saja yang perlu disiapkan untuk memproduksi film “KONTRADIKSI”.
