Abstract

Employees are one of the internal parts of the company which is a key element in achieving goals in the organization. So far, many companies have focused on relations with external parties, but have neglected relations with their employees. Employee relations is a form of cooperation between all parties in the company. If employee relations are going well, enthusiasm will arise and communication satisfaction will increase. One of the activities carried out to establish good relations with PT. Sinar Metrindo Perkasa is holding badminton sports every Friday. This study aims to find out more about the influence of the Employee Relations program at PT. Sinar Metrindo Perkasa in employee communication satisfaction. This study uses the concept of employee relations with the dimensions of education and training programs, achievement motivation programs, reward programs, special event programs, internal communication media programs, for the communication satisfaction variable the dimension studied is job satisfaction. The variable of communication satisfaction is measured through the dimensions of accuracy of information, satisfaction with the way co-workers communicate, satisfaction with the efficiency of various communication channels This type of research is explanatory research through a quantitative approach and by collecting data using a survey method in the form of distributing questionnaires to employees of PT. Sinar Meterindo Mighty. The analysis of this research uses product moment correlation and simple linear regression. Based on the results of the regression test, the researcher got the results from the influence of the Employee Relations program on the communication satisfaction of employees of PT. Sinar Metrindo Perkasa 67.3% and the remaining 32.7% is influenced by other factors. The results of the hypothesis test H1 are accepted and H0 are rejected. It can be concluded that the Employee Relations program has a significant effect on employee communication satisfaction. Keywords: Employee Relations, Organization, Communication Satisfaction Karyawan merupakan salah satu bagian internal perusahaan yang menjadi unsur kunci dalam mencapai tujuan dalam organisasi. Selama ini banyak perusahaan yang fokus pada hubungan dengan pihak luar, namun mengabaikan hubungan dengan karyawannya. Hubungan karyawan merupakan salah satu bentuk kerjasama antara semua pihak dalam perusahaan. Jika hubungan karyawan berjalan dengan baik maka akan timbul semangat dan kepuasan komunikasi yang akan meningkat. Salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk menjalin hubungan baik PT. Sinar Metrindo Perkasa adalah mengadakan olahraga badminton setiap hari jum’at. Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengetahui lebih jauh mengenai pengaruh program Employee Relations PT. Sinar Metrindo Perkasa dalam kepuasan komunikasi karyawan. . Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep employee relations dengan dimensi program pendidikan dan pelatihan, program motivasi kerja berprestasi, program pernghargaan atau reward, program acara khusus, program media komunikasi internal, untuk variabel kepuasan komunikasi dimensi yang diteliti adalah kepuasan dengan pekerjaan. Variabel kepuasan komunikasi diukur melalui dimensi ketepatan informkepasi, kepuasan dengan cara komunikasi rekan kerja, kepuasan dengan efisiensi bermacam-macam saluran komunikasi Tipe penelitian ini penelitian eksplanatif melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dan dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey berupa penyebaran kuisioner kepada karyawan PT. Sinar Meterindo Perkasa. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi product moment dan regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi, peneliti mendapatkan hasil dari pengaruh program Employee Relations terhadap kepuasan komunikasi karyawan PT. Sinar Metrindo Perkasa 67,3% dan sisanya 32,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya. Hasil uji hipotesis H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa program Employee Relations berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasaan komunikasi karyawan. Kata Kunci : Employee Relations, Organisasi, Kepuasaan Komunikasi
