Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of POS System information technology and knowledge management on restaurant business performance. This research is a quantitative research with unit of analysis. This research is a quantitative study with organizational analysis unit in this case a restaurant that has used POS System in its sales as respondents. The population for restaurants that use the POS System in data owned by PT Intesys as a vendor in the development of the POS System is as many as 80 restaurants and the sampling determination in this study is to use a saturated sample (census) so that the research sample is the total population of 80 restaurants. In this study data analysis using the PLS approach using Smart PLS software. Descriptive analysis results show that the level of intention of the restaurant in intention to use Information Technology POS System (Behavioral Intention to Use) in restaurants is quite high due to the process of inputting sales by using the POS System to be more controlled, restaurants have managerial knowledge and good business performance. Based on the results of statistical analysis the use of P.O.S System and knowledge management has a positive and significant effect on business performance. Keywords: POS System, Knowledge Management, Behavioral Intention to Use, Organizational Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan teknologi informasi POS System dan knowledge management terhadap kinerja usaha restoran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan unit analisis Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan unit analisis organisasi dalam hal ini adalah restoran yang telah menggunakan POS System dalam penjualannya sebagai responden. Populasi untuk restoran yang menggunakan POS System pada data yang dimiliki PT Intesys sebagai vendor dalam pengembangan POS System adalah sebanyak 80 restoran dan penentuan sampling pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan sampel jenuh (sensus) sehingga sampel penelitian yaitu keseluruhan populasi yang ada sebanyak 80 restoran. Penelitian ini dalam mengelola analisis datanya menggunakan pendekatan PLS dengan menggunakan software Smart PLS. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa tingkat niatan restoran dalam niat menggunakan Teknologi Informasi POS System (Behavioral Intention to Use) pada restoran-restoran cukup tinggi disebabkan proses penginputan penjualan dengan menggunakan POS System menjadi lebih terkontrol, restoran mempunyai pengetahuan managerial dan kinerja usaha yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik penggunaan P.O.S System dan knowledge management berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja usaha.
