Abstract

The development of digital media has both positive and negative impacts on a public figure, where new issues related to public opinion that can influence a public figure's image may arise, as exemplified by Keisya Levronka, a singer who previously participated in Indonesia Idol and gained significant attention in the digital media when she failed to perform the song titled "Tak Ingin Usai." This research aims to conduct an analysis of public opinion towards Keisya Levronka when she encountered difficulties while performing the song "Tak Ingin Usai." The research data was obtained from the comment sections of Instagram accounts @detikcom and @kumparancom during the incident where Keisya Levronka had trouble performing "Tak Ingin Usai." The research method employed in this study is qualitative content analysis, which can provide a detailed explanation concerning the identification of public opinions that are either supportive, neutral, or opposing. The findings from this thesis research state that opposing public opinions completely dominate regarding Keisya Levronka's performance failure of the song "Tak Ingin Usai." Keywords: Digital Media, Public Figures, Public Opinion, Qualitative Content Analysis, Keisya Levronka Perkembangan Media Digital memiliki dampak positif juga negatif bagi seorang public figure, dimana akan muncul masalah baru terkait opini khalayak yang dapat mempengaruhi citra seorang public figure, seperti yang terjadi pada Keisya Levronka yang merupakan seorang penyanyi yang pernah mengikuti indonesia idol yang ramai diperbincangkan di media digital saat gagal menyanyikan lagu yang berjudul “Tak Ingin Usai”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis opini khalayak terhadap Keisya Levronka saat gagal menyanyikan lagu "Tak Ingin Usai". Data penelitian ini diambil dari kolom komentar pada postingan akun Instagram @detikcom dan @kumparancom saat Keisya Levronka gagal menyanyikan lagu “Tak Ingin Usai”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis isi kualitatif, dimana metode ini dapat menjelaskan secara terperinci terkait identifikasi opini khalayak yang bersifat pro, netral, dan kontra. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian skripsi ini menyatakan bahwa opini khalayak yang bersifat kontra sepenuhnya mendominasi terhadap kegagalan Keisya Levronka dalam menyanyikan lagu “Tak Ingin Usai”.
