Abstract
podcast is a digital audio recording file containing discussion on a particular topic, such as business or travel that is uploaded to an online platform for sharing with others. In another sense, a podcast is a visual medium that features a discussion or question-and-answer session on a topic. The TAPN program "How To Be Podcaster" with the sub-theme "Podcast Assistance and Training in Improving Script Writing Skills for Budi Mulia Vocational High School students for the March-July 2023 period" is held face-toface, the script in the podcast will also help to stay focused when deliver content. This mentoring activity is aimed specifically at Budi Mulia Vocational High School students and aims to improve the competency of scriptwriting skills in creating podcats content. While the TAPN activity was taking place, the author started by conducting outreach and surveys with partners, namely SMK Budi Mulia. Then coordinate with partners to carry out assistance in writing podcast scripts. The development of class X and XI students can be seen from the results of the questionnaire with an average percentage before mentoring getting 31% percentage and getting results of 73.5% percentage after mentoring. With this assistance, students in class X and class XI have high enthusiasm, so that students experience improvements in terms of skills, creativity, insight, theoretical knowledge, and also skills in carrying out script writing techniques, including in determining the theme and structure of the script, so that it becomes provisions for the future. Keywords: podcast, script, podcast content, informatio, budi mulia vocational school students Podcast adalah sebuah file rekaman audio digital yang berisi diskusi mengenai suatu topik tertentu, seperti bisnis atau perjalanan yang diunggah dalam platform online untuk dibagikan kepada orang lain. Dalam arti lain, podcast adalah media visual yang menampilkan diskusi atau sesi tanya jawab mengenai suatu topik. Program TAPN “How To Be Podcaster” dengan sub tema “Pendampingan dan Pelatihan Podcast Dalam Meningkatkan Keahlian Penulisan Naskah siswasiswi SMK Budi Mulia Periode Bulan Maret-Juli 2023” ini diselenggarakan secara tatap muka, naskah dalam podcast juga akan membantu untuk tetap fokus saat menyampaikan konten. Kegiatan pendampingan ini ditujukan khususnya kepada siswa-siswi SMK Budi Mulia dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi keahlian penulisan naskah dalam pembuatan konten podcats. Selama kegiatan TAPN ini berlangsung, penulis mulai dengan melakukan sosialisasi dan survey dengan mitra yaitu SMK Budi Mulia. Kemudian koordinasi dengan mitra untuk melaksanakan pendampingan penulisan naskah podcast. Perkembangan siswa kelas X dan kelas XI dapat dilihat dari hasil kuesioner dengan rata-rata sebelum pendampingan mendapatkan 31% persentse dan mendapatkan hasil 73,5% persentase sesudah pendampingan. Dengan pendampingan ini siswa kelas X dan kelas XI memiliki antusias yang tinggi, sehingga siswa-siswi mengalami peningkatan dari segi keterampilan, kreatif, wawasan, pengetahuan teori, dan juga skill dalam melakukan teknik penulisan naskah antara lain dalam menentukan tema dan struktur naskah, sehingga menjadi bekal untuk kedepannya.
