Abstract

The share prices of several manufacturing companies as of March 2021 have decreased, UNVR, ICBP, INDF, HMSP, and GGRM have corrected 12.7%, 24.78%, 18.71%, 32.13%, and 33.54% respectively since the beginning of the year. The company has taken many initiatives to maintain business continuity, including lowering selling prices so that profitability is still lagging behind. This study aims to examine the effect of Return On Asset, Return On Equity, and Earnings Per Share on stock prices. The population in this study are food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022. The sample selection method in this study is a quantitative research method and uses purposive sampling. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the company's official website. This research was conducted with a quantitative descriptive approach. The research method used is Descriptive Statistics Test, Classical Assumption Test and Hypothesis Testing using SPSS Statistic 25. The results of this study indicate that Return on Assets and Return On Equity have no effect on stock prices, while Earning Per Share has an effect on stock prices. Keywords: Return on Assets, Return on Equity, and Earning Per Share Harga Saham beberapa perusahaan manufaktur per bulan Maret 2021 mengalami penurunan, UNVR, ICBP, INDF, HMSP, dan GGRM masing-masing terkoreksi 12.7%, 24.78%, 18.71%, 32,13%, dan 33.54% sejak awal tahun. Perusahaan banyak melakukan inisiatif untuk menjaga kelangsungan usaha, termasuk menurunkan harga jual sehingga profitabilitas masih tertinggal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Return On Asset, Return On Equity, dan Earning Per Share terhadap harga saham. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2018-2022. Metode pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan purposive sampling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi empiris. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia dan website resmi perusahaan. . Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Uji Statistik Deskriptif, Uji Asumsi Klasik, dan Uji Hipotesis dengan menggunakan Statistic 25. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Return on Asset dan Return On Equity tidak berpengaruh terhadap harga saham sedangkan Earning Per Share berpengaruh terhadap harga saham.
