Abstract

Comic strips based on social media instagram is an effective visual communication media in the era of technological and information development as a way to convey messages in the form of comic stories containing social criticism and education. stories themed on socio-economics as a result of the use of technology and information are growing increasingly must be conveyed to the public, especially for Indonesian people who are active in using social media. So that the Indonesian people can remember about socio-economic relations properly and wisely, which in turn can anticipate the occurrence of economic crises that might occur. With an illustration style that mencirikhaskan local illustration style makes comic strips easier to accept because it can represent the lives of Indonesian people, criticism that contains education is needed by people who in this day and age are easier to receive information transparently so that there are no more restrictions that can prevent things that are not expected, especially those that affect their social and economic. So this COMVISION is a good formula to deliver the message because it is wrapped with comic strips and funny and unique illustrations. Keywords: Comic Strip, Character Illustration, Instagram Comic, Social Criticism Komik strip berbasis sosial media instagram merupakan media komunikasi visual yang efektif pada masyarakat diera perkembangan teknologi dan informasi sebagai cara untuk menyampaikan pesan berbentuk cerita komik yang berisikan tentang kritikan dan edukasi sosial. cerita yang bertemakan tentang sosial ekonomi akibat dari penggunaan teknologi dan informasi berkembang kian harus disampaikan kepada masyarakat, khususnya untuk masyarakat Indonesia yang aktif dalam menggunakan sosial media. Sehingga masyarakat Indonesia dapat mengingat kembali tentang hubungan sosial ekonomi dengan baik dan bijak, yang pada akhirnya dapat mengantisipasi kejadian krisis ekonomi yang mungkin terjadi. Dengan gaya pengilustrasian yang mencirikhaskan gaya ilustrasi lokal menjadikan komik strip lebih mudah untuk di terima sebab dapat merepresentasikan kehidupan masyarakat indonesia, kritikan yang berisi edukasi sangat diperlukan oleh masyarakat yang di zaman ini lebih mudah untuk menerima informasi secara teransparan sehingga tidak ada lagi batasan yang dapat mencegah hal-hal yang tidak diharapkan terkhusus yang berpengaruh pada sosial dan ekonominya. Maka KOMVISTIK ini adalah formula yang baik untuk menyampaikan pesan tersebut sebab dibungkus dengan komik strip dan ilustrasi yang lucu dan unik.
