Abstract

Construction management is the activity of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling human, material, and financial resources to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of stakeholders of a project. Project delays are a common problem in the construction and project management industry. Many projects experience delays in completion, which can result in serious consequences such as increased costs, client dissatisfaction, or reputational damage to the company. Project delays can be caused by a variety of factors, both internal and external. These factors can be quite complex and vary depending on different project types, industries, and contexts.. In order to obtain a comprehensive and accurate understanding of these causal factors, the Systematic Literature Review method is an effective research approach. Systematic Literature Review helps in obtaining information on the identification of factors that hinder the implementation of each project. Therefore, knowing the shortcomings and weaknesses in the implementation so that it can be a reference or input for future project implementation and to see the latest things about the causes of delays in the project. The results of the literature review regarding the causes of delays in several cities set different ranks due to differences in location or area and type or characteristics of the project and the factors causing this delay are divided into 2, namely external and internal factors. Obtained from the research results the most influential factors in project delays are Design Factors and Natural Factors with a percentage of 18%. Keywords: Delay, Factors, Literature Review, Construction Management Manajemen pada suatu konstruksi merupakan kegiatan merencanakan, mengorganisir, mengarahkan, dan mengendalikan sumber daya manusia, material, dan finansial untuk memenuhi atau melampaui kebutuhan dan harapan stakeholder dari sebuah proyek. Keterlambatan proyek merupakan masalah umum dalam industri konstruksi dan manajemen proyek. Banyak proyek mengalami penundaan dalam penyelesaian, yang dapat mengakibatkan konsekuensi serius seperti peningkatan biaya, ketidakpuasan klien, atau kerugian reputasi bagi perusahaan. Keterlambatan proyek dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, baik faktor internal maupun eksternal. Faktor-faktor ini bisa sangat kompleks dan bervariasi tergantung pada jenis proyek, industri, dan konteks yang berbeda. Dalam rangka memperoleh pemahaman yang komprehensif dan akurat tentang faktorfaktor penyebab tersebut, metode Systematic Literature Review menjadi pendekatan penelitian yang efektif. Kajian Systematic Literature Review membantu dalam memperoleh informasi identifikasi faktor-faktor yang menghambat pada setiap pelaksanaan proyek. Oleh karena itu, mengetahui kekurangan dan kelemahan dalam pelaksanaan sehingga dapat menjadi acuan maupun masukan untuk pelaksanaan proyek ke depan dan untuk melihat hal terbaru tentang penyebab keterlambatan pada proyek. Hasil dari literature review mengenai penyebab keterlambatan di beberapa kota menetapkan rangking yang berbeda dikarenakan perbedaan lokasi atau daerah dan tipe atau karakteristik proyek dan faktor penyebab keterlambatan ini di bagi menjadi 2 yaitu faktor eksternal dan internal. Didapatkan dari hasil penelitian faktor yang paling mempengaruhi pada keterlambatan proyek yaitu Faktor Design dan Faktor Alam dengan persantase 18%.
