Abstract

Planning is a critical stage in determining the success of a construction project in construction management. Effective and efficient project implementation is guided by good planning. A common challenge in a building project is the disparity between the initial design and the realization of project implementation. Project control is required to avoid work delays and to prevent modifications in the implementation of building projects. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a method of building design, construction, and administration that is widely utilized in the construction industry. Cubicost Take-off Architecture & Structure (TAS) was used in this study to calculate the volume of concrete requirements, while Cubicost Take-off Reinforcement Bar (TRB) was utilized to calculate the volume of rebar requirements. The purpose of this study is to compare the calculation of the volume of concrete structural work between the Building Information Modeling method and the conventional approach to determine the benefits of utilizing BIM in calculating the volume of concrete structural work. Based on the results of volume calculations on rebar and concrete structural work, the volume difference between the two approaches is 3.92% for rebar volume and 1.83% for concrete volume with a lesser BIM volume. The percentage difference in formwork volume is 9.94% with a greater BIM volume. The ratio of rebar and concrete volume remains within the company's tolerable standards, x < 5%, however the percentage of formwork volume surpasses the company's standard norms. Several factors contribute to differences in results between conventional and BIM methods, including some standard details that cannot be included in the calculation of rebar volume, human error in conventional calculations, differences in length input in the calculation of concrete volume due to different sources, and differences in interpretation in the calculation of concrete wall formwork volume. Keywords: Building Information Modeling (BIM); Cubicost Glodon TAS; Cubicost Glodon TRB; quantity take off Dalam manajemen kostruksi, perencanaan merupakan tahapan yang krusial dalam menentukan keberhasilan suatu proyek konstruksi. Perencanaan yang baik merupakan panduan untuk melaksanakan proyek secara efektif dan efisien. Dalam suatu proyek konstruksi terdapat masalah yang sering terjadi salah satunya adalah ketidaksesuaian antara rancangan awal dengan realisasi dalam pelaksanaan proyek. Untuk menghindari keterlambatan pekerjaan, maka diperlukan pengendalian proyek yang dapat mencegah adanya perubahan dalam pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi. Building Information Modelling (BIM) adalah sebuah pendekatan untuk desain bangunan, konstruksi, dan manajemen yang digunakan di bidang konstruksi. Aplikasi BIM yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Cubicost Take-off Architecture & Structure (TAS) untuk perhitungan volume kebutuhan beton dan Cubicost Take-off Reinforcement Bar (TRB) untuk perhitungan volume kebutuhan besi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan perhitungan volume pekerjaan struktur beton antara metode Building Information Modeling dengan konvensional untuk mengetahui manfaat dari penggunaan BIM pada perhitungan volume pekerjaan struktur beton. Berdasarkan hasil volume perhitungan pada pekerjaan struktur besi dan beton diperoleh selisih presentase perbandingan volume antara kedua metode untuk volume besi sebesar 3.92% dan presentase selisih volume beton sebesar 1,83% dengan volume BIM yang lebih kecil. Sedangkan presentase selisih volume bekisting sebesar 9,94% dengan volume BIM yang lebih besar. Terdapat beberapa faktor penyebab perbedaan hasil antara medote konvensional dan BIM, diantaranuya beberapa detail standar yang tidak dapat dimasukkan dalam perhitungan volume besi, human error dalam perhitungan konvensional, perbedaan input panjang dalam perhitungan volume beton karena sumber yang berbeda, perbedaan interpretasi dalam perhitungan volume bekisting dinding beton.
