Abstract
PT. Tetra Pak Indonesia (TPI) is the market leader in beverage packaging (especially UHT milk). In this case, PT Tetra Pak Indonesia serves the needs of PT Diamond Cold Storage (DCS) in terms of Technical Support for its UHT milk production line. With the increasing demand from year to year, PT DCS wants production equipment, in this case the UHT milk packaging machine, to work better. In 2019, the MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) value was generally below the average of 1.51 hours. In this study, the calculation of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is used as the company's initial positioning and as a benchmark for machine performance on the line-1. By looking for the 6 big losses that exist in the line and then making improvements to increase the efficiency of the machine. The approach to the MTBF and MTTR parameters is a measure of the increase in engine efficiency. Based on the results of research that has been carried out on Filling Machine Line-1, the conclusion drawn is that the OEE 2020 results obtained increased by 3% in the first semester of 2020. The elements in OEE that contributed to the percentage increase in machine performance were Availability Rate and Performance rate. This was followed by an increase in the MTBF value from an average of 1.51 hours to 2.3 hours. The MTTR value has increased by an average of 0.11 hours. The OEE value at the beginning of the 2020 semester is 56% as the initial positioning of the company for the future to continue to improve engine efficiency to achieve an OEE value of 85% which can be considered a world class standard. The increase in MTBF value is the result of the improvement approach taken by the Tetra Pak Indonesia team to increase the efficiency of the Filling Machine line-1 at PT Diamond Cold Storage. Tetra Pak Indonesia (TPI) merupakan market leader dalam hal packaging minuman (terutama susu UHT). Dalam hal ini, PT Tetra Pak Indonesia melayani kebutuhan PT Diamond Cold Storage (DCS) dalam hal Technical Support untuk production line susu UHT-nya. Dengan permintaan yang semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, PT DCS menginginkan peralatan produksi, dalam hal ini mesin packaging susu UHT untuk dapat bekerja lebih baik. Pada 2019, nilai MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) umumnya berada dibawah rata-rata yaitu 1.51 jam. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan perhitungan OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) sebagai positioning awal perusahaan dan menjadi tolak ukur performance mesin pada line-1 tersebut. Dengan mencari 6 big losses yang Line-OEE yang dan awal dari MTBF ada pada line tersebut dan selanjutnya dilakukan perbaikan dalam rangka meningkatkan efisiensi mesin. Pendekatan parameter MTBF dan MTTR menjadi tolak ukur kenaikan efisiensi mesin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada Filling Machine -1 maka adapun kesimpulan yang diambil adalah Hasil OEE 2020 yang didapat meningkat 3% pada semester pertama 2020. Adapun element dalam menyumbang persentasi peningkatan performa mesin adalah Availibility Rate Performance rate. Hal tersebut diikuti dengan meningkatnya nilai MTBF dari rata-rata 1.51 jam, menjadi 2.3 jam. Adapun nilai MTTR nya mengalami kenaikan rata-rata 0.11 jam. Nilai OEE pada awal semester 2020 adalah 56 % sebagai positioning perusahaan untuk kedepannya terus meningkatkan efisiensi mesin dalam rangka mencapai nilai OEE 85% yang bisa dianggap standard world class. Kenaikan Nilai merupalan hasil dari pendekatan perbaikan yang dilakukan team Tetra Pak Indonesia dalam rangka meningkatkan efisiensi dari Filling Machine line-1 di PT Diamond Cold Storage.
