Abstract
This study analyzes the millennial’s commitment to the organization and the balance between personal life and work. This study examines implementing flexible working arrangements, social support on organizational commitment, and its impact mediated by work-life balance. The population in this study is creative economy workers in the advertising sub-sector at an advertising agency company located in the DKI Jakarta area. The analysis carried out in this study is to describe the respondents who are the subjects in this study and conduct quantitative research to test the hypotheses in this study. The analysis uses Structural Equation Model- Partial Least Square with a sample of 105 millennial workers in advertising agency companies. The results show that flexible working has no significant effect on organizational commitment. Meanwhile, social support influences organizational commitment. Work-life balance can also mediate both the relationship between flexible working arrangements and social support to organizational commitment. The implications of this research are discussed in the article. Keywords: flexible working arrangements, social support, work life balance, organizational commitment, millenials Studi ini menganalisis tentang komitmen milenial terhadap organisasi dan bagaimana keseimbangan antara kehidupan pribadi dan pekerjaannya. Studi ini berusaha untuk meneliti efek dari penerapan flexible working arrangements, social support terhadap komitmen organisasi dan pengaruhnya dengan dimediasi oleh work life balance. Populasi dalam studi ini yaitu pekerja bidang ekonomi kreatif pada subsektor periklanan di perusahaan advertising agency yang berada di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Analisis yang dilakukan pada studi ini adalah dengan mendeskripsikan responden yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini, dan melakukan analisis kuantitatif untuk menguji hipotesis dalam studi ini. Analisis stastistik menggunakan Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square dengan sampel berjumlah 105 orang pekerja milenial di perusahaan advertising agency. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa flexible working arrangements tidak ada pengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Sementara itu social support memiliki pengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasi. Work life balance juga dapat memediasi, baik hubungan antara flexible working arangements maupun social support terhadap komitmen organisasi. Hasil penelitian lebih lanjut dibahas dalam artikel ini.
