Abstract
This design aims to explore the application of floral aesthetics to the visuals of party dresses in terms of shape, color and balance by considering the needs and tastes of young women towards today's fashion trends. Visualization of floral aesthetics on party dresses uses deformation techniques from flamboyant flower shapes, namely the shape of blooming petals, bud petals, and flower pistils which are implemented by layering techniques and asymmetrical model styling on dresses. The design was carried out using the ATUMICS method as a reference in building the characteristics of a party dress that elevates traditional culture to match today's fashion styles, namely the Co-Exist fashion style themed The Self Improvers. Party dresses with the application of floral aesthetics can be a new option for young women in choosing party dresses that can give a unique impression and can increase confidence to look special at special moments. This design can answer consumers' desire for new clothing innovations that are in accordance with the characteristics of young women who want to look attractive and different from others.
