Abstract

Football is the most popular and popular sport in Indonesia and even in the world today. The stadium is the most important facility in the sport of football, so the stadium must be able to provide comfort and safety for both spectators and players, in accordance with stadium building planning standards. One of the stadiums in Batu City is the Brantas Stadium stadium. However, the stadium which is the home base of the Persikoba FC club is still not meeting FIFA standards as an international standard stadium. The redesign of Brantas Stadium needs to be done to improve safety and comfort for players and for spectators. The application of the Brantas Stadium redesign takes a metaphorical architectural approach of an object, namely the mountains in the Batu City area, Brantas Stadium is located at the foot of Mount Kawi and flanked by 3 mountains, namely Mount Paderman (2010 meters), Mount Arjuna (3339 meters), Mount Welirang (3156 meters), So it can be said that the metaphorical architectural approach is used as the basis for design, because the metaphorical architectural approach not only refers to form but also refers to nature and systems from the objects of nature taken. Keywords: Brantas Stadium, Metaphora Architecture Sepak bola merupakan olahraga paling populer dan digemari di Indonesia bahkan juga di dunia untuk saat ini. Stadion merupakan sarana paling penting dalam olahraga sepak bola, sehingga Stadion harus mampu memberikan suatu kenyamanan dan keamanan baik bagi penonton maupun pemain, sesuai dengan standar perencanaan bangunan stadion. Salah satu stadion di Kota Batu ini adalah stadion Stadion Brantas. Namun stadion yang menjadi home base klub Persikoba FC ini masih kurang memenuhi standart FIFA sebagai stadion bertaraf internasional. Redesain Stadion Brantas perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keamanan serta kenyamanan bagi pemain maupun bagi penonton. Penerapan redesain Stadion Brantas mengambil pendekatan arsitektur metafora suatu objek yaitu pegunungan di daerah Kota Batu, Stadion Brantas ini terletak di kaki Gunung Kawi dan diapit oleh 3 buah gunung yaitu Gunung Paderman (2010 meter), Gunung Arjuna (3339 meter), Gunung Welirang (3156 meter), Jadi bisa dikatakan pendekatan arsitektur metafora dijadikan sebagai dasar rancangan, karena pendekatan arsitektur metafora tidak hanya mengacu pada bentuk tetapi juga mengacu pada sifat dan sistem dari objek alam yang diambil.
