Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job characteristics, career development, and transactional leadership on turnover intention at PT. Indonesian Commuter Train UPT Manggarai. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. This research was conducted at PT. Indonesian Commuter Train UPT Manggarai with a population of all employees at PT. The Indonesian Commuter Train UPT Manggarai, totaling 43 machinists and all of them were used as samples. This study uses data analysis techniques Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and data processing using Partial Least Square (PLS). The data collection technique was done by using a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that job characteristics have a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, career development has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, and transactional leadership has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention at PT. Indonesian Commuter Train UPT Manggarai. Keywords: Job Characteristics, Career Development, Transactional Leadership,Turnover Intention Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik pekerjaan, pengembangan karir, dan kepemimpinan transaksional terhadap turnover intention di PT. Kereta Commuter Indonesia UPT Manggarai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Kereta Commuter Indonesia UPT Manggarai dengan populasi seluruh karyawan di PT. Kereta Commuter Indonesia UPT Manggarai yang berjumlah 43 masinis dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dan pengelolahan data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention, pengembangan karir berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention, dan kepemimpinan transaksional berpengaruh positif dan signifkan terhadap turnover intention pada PT. Kereta Commuter Indonesia UPT Manggarai. Kata Kunci: Karakteristik Pekerjaan, Pengembangan Karir, Kepemimpinan Transaksional, Turnover Intention
