Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of good corporate governance and capital structure on firm valuein consumer goods and industrial sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2017 -2019. This research is q quantitative study using secondary data data sources obtained from downloading the financial statements of the consumer goods and industrial sector manufacturing companies at www.idx.co.id The population in this research were are all consumer goods and industrial sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2017 -2019. The final sample consisted of 21 observation companies for 3 years from 2017 - 2019 using the purposive sampling method. Analysis techniqueon this research used multiple linier regression linier using the SPSS 20 application program. The results of this research show that partially good corporate governance proxied through institutional ownership mechanisms has no effect on firm value, while the audit committee mechanism has a negative effect on firm value and capital structure has a positive and significant effect on firm value. This is evidenced by the results of the partial test (T test) in this study.. Keywords: good corporate governance, capital structure, firm value Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh good corporate governance dan struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan sumber data sekunder yang diperoleh dari mengunduh laporan keuangan perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang dan konsumsi tahun 2015-2019 di www.idx.co.id. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu semua perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang dan konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 20157 -2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 21 perusahaan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik dalam bentuk uji regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan program aplikasi SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara parsial good corporate governance yang diproksikan melalui mekanisme kepemilikan institusional tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan mekanisme komite audit berpengaruh negatif terhadap nilai perusahaan dan struktur modal berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji parsial (uji T) dalam penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: good corporate governance, struktur modal, nilai perusahaan
