Abstract
This study aims to find out the effect of job design on work commitment at Star Capital Group companies; and to find out if all dimensions of job design influence work commitment. In this study, there is a proxy for agile work culture. Design work in the context of an agile culture influences work commitment, but this assumption is not the case in the case of Star Capital Group companies. This research method is a quantitative approach. The data technique was conducted through a survey, with a questionnaire instrument. The population is all of Star Capital Group's 173 employees. The sampling technique uses saturated samples, which means that all populations are sampled. The analysis technique uses linear regression through SPSS software. The results showed that work design had a positive and significant effect on work commitment. Among the five dimensions of work design, the four dimensions of work which are job variation, job significance, job autonomy, and feedback have a positive and significant effect on work commitment. Only the dimension of work identity has a negative and significant effect on work commitment. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh desain kerja terhadap komitmen kerja pada perusahaan Grup Star Capital; dan mencari tahu apakah semua dimensi desain pekerjaan mempengaruhi komitmen kerja. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat proksi budaya kerja gesit (agile). Desain kerja dalam konteks budaya agile dianggap mempengaruhi komitmen kerja, tetapi asumsi ini tidak terjadi dalam kasus perusahaan Grup Star Capital. Metode penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei, dengan instrumen kuesioner. Populasi adalah semua karyawan Grup Star Capital berjumlah 173 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh, yang berarti semua elemen populasi dijadikan sampelnya. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi linear melalui perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen kerja. Di antara lima dimensi desain kerja, empat dimensi (variasi pekerjaan, signifikansi pekerjaan, otonomi kerja, dan umpan balik) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen kerja. Hanya dimensi identitas kerja yang berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen kerja.
