Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work environment, career development, and compensation on teacher job satisfaction at SMAN 4 Tangerang Selatan. The population of this study were all 38 teachers at SMAN 4 Tangerang Selatan and all of them were used as samples using the total sampling method. The primary data used was collected by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Square (PLS) which was processed using SmartPLS 3.0. The results showed that the work environment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, career development had a positive and insignificant effect on job satisfaction, and compensation had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction forteachers at SMAN 4 Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari lingkungan kerja, pengembangan karir, dan kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMAN 4 Tangerang Selatan. Populasi dari penelitian ini ialah seluruh guru SMAN 4 Tangerang Selatan yang berjumlah 38 orang dan seluruhnya digunakan sebagai sampel dengan metode total sampling. Data primer yang digunakan, dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada seluruh responden. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Partial Least Square (PLS) yang diolah menggunakan SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada guru di SMAN 4 Tangerang Selatan.
