Abstract

In this global era, the hotel business is quiet due to the Covid-19 pandemic which has not ended until now. Therefore, the hotel business must need updating to keep up with this era by for example implementing standardized health protocols. The function of a resort hotel is other than as a temporary residence for someone to travel to enjoy the scenery. One of them is the Hotel Resort and Spa Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta, which has planned various things related to the physical condition of the hotel to achieve user comfort and safety as well as updates to keep up with today's complicated era. Through the exterior, interior and other supporting elements with a characteristic, style and unity in every space. The aim of this design is to create a resort hotel that is comfortable, functional and aesthetically pleasing in this emerging era. By choosing the concept of "Modern Tropical" which uses the local content of Yogyakarta as the theme of its interior design, this hotel also aims to introduce the culture of Yogyakarta while providing warmth for tourists. new natural feel. The method used in this design begins with data search, analysis, processing of existing data so that it becomes the final design. The expected results from the interior design of this resort hotel are able to make visitors feel a different experience by following the latest developments from the complicated era caused by the Covid-19 pandemic by continuing to develop local content in Yogyakarta. Keywords: Pandemic, Hotel Resort, Modern Tropical, Local Content, Yogyakarta Pada era global seperti sekarang ini yang dimana bisnis perhotelan sepi pengunjung dikarenakan adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang belum berakhir sampai saat ini. Oleh karena itu, bisnis perhotelan harus memerlukan perbaruan dengan mengikuti era seperti ini dengan misalnya menerapkan protokol kesehatan yang sesuai standar. Fungsi hotel resort selain untuk tempat tinggal sementara sesorang untuk berwisata menikmati pemandangan. Salah satunya, Hotel Resort and Spa Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta yang harus merencanakan berbagai hal yang berkaitan dengan fisik hotel untuk mencapai kenyamanan dan keamanan pengguna serta perbaruan mengikuti era yang sedang rumit sekarang ini. Melalui elemen-elemen eksterior, interior, dan elemen pendukung lainnya dengan ciri, gaya, dan kesatuan didalam setiap ruangnya. Tujuan dari perancangan ini yaitu menciptakan hotel resort yang nyaman, fungsional dan estetik di jaman yang semakin berkembang. Dengan pemilihan konsep “Modern Tropical” yang menggunakan local content Yogyakarta sebagai tema perancangan interior hotel ini juga memiliki tujuan untuk memperkenalkan budaya Yogyakarta sekaligus memberikan nuansa baru alam yang hangat kepada wisatawan. Metode yang digunakan pada perancangan ini yaitu diawali dengan pencarian data, menganalisis, mengolah data yang ada sehingga menjadi satu rancangan desain akhir. Hasil yang diharapkan dari perancangan interior hotel resort ini mampu membuat pengunjung merasakan pengalaman yang berbeda dengan mengikuti pembaruan perkembangan era yang sedang rumit saat ini karena pandemi Covid-19 dengan tetap mengembangkan local content yang ada di Yogyakarta.
