Abstract

The Green Design concept is a regional development concept for eco-friendly tourism activities. Green Design is a manifestation of the implementation of the concept of environmentally friendly sustainable development, one of the steps for the community to participate in caring for their environment. In addition to the decline in the tourism sector and the economy, the role of national tourism management is faced with climate change which demands that the management of the tourism industry sector be able to support in all aspects, namely economic aspects, social welfare, cultural development, and environmental preservation in the framework of sustainable economic development. One of the buildings that needs to pay attention to and plan a green design in the interior of its resort hotel, namely the Alila Villas Uluwatu Resort Hotel by applying air conditioning and materials used to support green design in each room and implementing the Covid-19 health protocol in the current pandemic era. The purpose of this research is to help reduce current environmental issues by implementing environmentally sound design in order to create a dwelling that can have a positive impact on the environment and its users. The design method used is a qualitative descriptive method beginning with collecting data, analyzing data, developing designs and the final stage of the design. The design that will be applied is with the theme "Environmentally Green Design with Tropical Modernism and Balinese Style" with the aim to be achieved is to create a Resort Hotel interior that is intended for the environment and humans. The results that are expected in this design can provide a resort hotel interior that is environmentally friendly through the application of Green Design aspects to the interior elements and collectively reduce the negative impact of global warming and optimize the optimal air conditioning in the current Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: Green Design, Interior, Environment, Pandemic, Hotel Resort Konsep Green Design merupakan konsep pengembangan wilayah untuk kegiatan pariwisata yang berwawasan lingkungan. Green Design sebagai salah satu wujud implementasi konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan yang ramah lingkungan, salah satu langkah bagi masyarakat untuk ikut serta terhadap kepedulian lingkungannya. Selain penurunan sektor kepariwisataan dan perekonomian, peran pengelolaan kepariwisataan nasional dihadapkan pada perubahan iklim yang menuntut pengelolaan sektor industri pariwisata mampu menunjang dalam segala aspek, yaitu aspek ekonomi, kesejahteraan sosial, pengembangan budaya, serta pelestarian lingkungan dalam rangka pembangunan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Salah satu bangunan yang perlu memperhatikan dan merencanakan green design pada interior hotel resortnya yaitu Hotel Resort Alila Villas Uluwatu dengan menerapkan penghawaan serta material yang digunakan untuk menunjang green design pada tiap ruangan serta menerapkan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 di era pandemi yang terjadi saat ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membantu mengurangi isu lingkungan yang terjadi saat ini dengan penerapan perancangan yang berwawasan lingkungan agar terciptanya sebuah hunian yang dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan maupun penggunanya. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif diawali dengan mengumpulkan data, menganalisa data, pengembangan desain dan tahap akhir desain. Perancangan yang akan diterapkan yaitu dengan tema “Environmentally Green Design with Tropical Modernism and Balinese Style” yaitu dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah menciptakan interior Hotel Resort yang diperuntukan untuk lingkungan dan manusia. Hasil yang diharapkan dalam perancangan ini dapat memberikan interior hotel resort yang berwawasan lingkungan melalui penerapan aspek-aspek Green Design pada elemen interior serta secara bersama mengurangi dampak negative dari pemanasan global dan mengoptimalkan penghawaan ruangan yang optimal dipandemi Covid-19 saat ini.
