Abstract

Recalibration service is a public service in the legal metrology unit.In the Industry 4.0 era, digital transformation is increasingly becoming a major concern for companies to improve operational performance and competitiveness. One aspect that needs attention is effective time management by increasing Lead Time, which is the time needed to complete a production or service process. To achieve this, companies can apply the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method to optimize service processes and increase efficiency. VSM is a method used to improve the flow of value in a production system by analyzing and visualizing the flow of materials, information and value. By using VSM, companies can identify potential bottlenecks in the production process and make improvements to speed up Lead Time. In VSM implementation,The lead-time for re-calibration services at this agency has a standard time of 14 working days, howeverdata achievement for 2021 shows an average of 23 days. The aim of this research is to improve leadtime that exceeds the standard through the I4.0 transformation. By combining the Visual Stream Mapping (VSM) approach and implementing Industry 4.0 transformation, the lead-time improvement that can be achieved is 6 days, this result is even better than the standard 14 days. The result of implementing VSM and digital transformation is an increase in company performance in terms of efficiency and productivity. In conclusion, VSM and digital transformation are effective methods for improving company performance in the Industry 4.0 era. By using VSM, companies can identify and overcome bottlenecks in the production process, while digital transformation can improve efficiency and productivity. Keyword : VSM, Transformation, Industry 4.0, Lead-time Pelayanan tera ulang adalah pelayanan publik di unit metrologi legal. Dalam era Industri 4.0, transformasi digital semakin menjadi perhatian utama bagi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kinerja operasional dan daya saing. Salah satu aspek yang perlu diperhatikan adalah pengelolaan waktu yang efektif melalui peningkatan Lead Time, yaitu waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan suatu proses produksi atau layanan. Untuk mencapai hal ini, perusahaan dapat menerapkan metode Value stream Mapping (VSM) untuk mengoptimalkan proses layanan dan meningkatkan efisiensi. VSM adalah metode yang digunakan untuk memperbaiki aliran nilai dalam suatu sistem produksi dengan menganalisis dan memvisualisasikan aliran bahan, informasi, dan nilai. Dengan menggunakan VSM, perusahaan dapat mengidentifikasi potensi penghambat dalam proses produksi dan melakukan perbaikan untuk mempercepat Lead Time. Dalam implementasi VSM, perusahaan perlu melakukan transformasi dalam sistem layanan. Lead-time layanan tera ulang di instansi ini memiliki standar waktu 14 hari kerja, namun pencapaian data tahun 2021 menunjukan rata-rata 23 hari.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperbaiki waktu lead-time yang melebihi standar melalui transformasi I4.0. Dengan memadukan pendekatan Visual Stream Mapping (VSM) dan penerapan transformasi Industri 4.0, perbaikan lead-time yang dapat dicapai adalah 6 hari, hasil ini bahkan lebih baik dari standar 14 hari. Hasil dari penerapan VSM dan transformasi digital adalah peningkatan kinerja perusahaan dalam hal efisiensi dan produktivitas. Dalam kesimpulannya, VSM dan transformasi digital adalah metode yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dalam era Industri 4.0. Dengan menggunakan VSM, perusahaan dapat mengidentifikasi dan mengatasi penghambat dalam proses produksi, sementara transformasi digital dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas.
