Abstract

Film is one of the mass media favored by the public. The message that is presented to the audience is audio and visual accompanied by the movement of the plot, which is close to the life and environment of the community. This study aims to determine the effect of Mise en Scene on Cognitive and Affective effects on Adolescents at SMAN 32 Jakarta. This research was conducted on 90 respondents using a quantitative descriptive approach. By using one independent variable, namely Mise en Scene (X), and the dependent variable is Cognitive (Y1) and Affective (Y2). Therefore, the data analysis used is statistical analysis in the form of linear regression. The results showed partially, the effect of Mise en Scene on the cognitive and affective effects of adolescents at SMAN 32 Jakarta. This is evidenced by the results of the partial test (t test) which also shows that the Mise en Scene effect has a significant effect on Cognitive and Affective. The Mise En Scene variable has a low and positive effect on Cognitive and Affective (19.1%) and the rest is influenced by factors not examined in this study. Keywords: Mise en Scene, Cognitive, Affective Film merupakan salah satu media massa yang digemari oleh masyarakat. Pesan yang dihadirkan kepada audiens secara audio dan visual yang disertai dengan gerak alurnya dekat dengan kehidupan dan lingkungan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Mise en Scene terhadap efek Kognitif dan Afektif pada Remaja SMAN 32 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 90 responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Denganmenggunakan satu variabel bebas yaitu Mise en Scene (X), dan variabel terikatnya adalah Kognitif (Y1) dan Afektif (Y2). Oleh karena itu, analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik berupa regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara parsial, Pengaruh Mise en Scene terhadap efek Kognitif dan Afektif pada remaja SMAN 32 Jakarta. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji parsial (uji t) juga menunjukkan Pengaruh Mise en Scene berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kognitif dan Afektif. Variabel Mise En Scene berpengaruh rendah dan positif terhadap Kognitif dan Afektif (19,1%) selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktoryang tidak diteliti dalam peneliti ini.
