Abstract

In Indonesia, the event organizer service business and the event organizer profession or commonly referred to as event organizer (EO) is a relatively new type of work. Event organizer (EO) is a business in the field of services officially appointed by the client to organize a series of events, starting from the process of conceptualizing, planning, preparation, execution to the completion of the entire series of events. This study aims to find out how the strategy of Public Relations of the Indonesian Creative Dimension (Organizer) in managing Intellectual Property events. The theoretical studies used consist of six theories, namely, Communication, Organizational Communication, Public Relations, Public Relations Program, Public Relations Management, Socialization. In this study, researchers used the post positivme paradigm qualitative research approach with qualitative descriptive research methods. The subjects of this study were the Public Relations of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Sector Public Relations of Indonesia. The Data Collection Techniques that will be used in this study are interview techniques, and documentation techniques. The researcher's data validity technique uses credibility with the triangulation method. The results showed that the elements in the theory of the Four Stages of the Public Relations Management Process in managing an event, namely Planning, Organizing, Implementing, and Supervision have been applied by the Public Relations of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and the Public Relations of the Indonesian Creation Dimension as the organizer. Keywords: Public Relations, Event Management, Intellectual Property Di Indonesia, bisnis jasa pelaksana acara dan profesi penyelenggara acara atau yang biasa disebut dengan event organizer (EO) adalah jenis pekerjaan yang tergolong baru. event organizer (EO) adalah usaha dalam bidang jasa yang ditunjuk secara resmi oleh klien untuk mengorganisasikan rangkaian acara, mulai dari proses pembuatan konsep, perencanaan, persiapan, eksekusi hingga selesainya seluruh rangkaian acara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi Humas Dimensi Kreasi Indonesia (Penyelenggara) dalam mengelola acara Kekayaan Intelektual. Kajian teori yang digunakan terdiri dari enam teori yaitu, Komunikasi, Komunikasi Organisasi, Public Relations, Program Public Relations, Manajemen Public Relations, Sosialisasi Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan paradigma post positivisme Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Humas Kemenparekraf dan Humas Dimensi Kreasi Indonesia. Teknik Pengumpulan Data yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik wawancara dan teknik dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan kredibilitas dengan metode triangulasi Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa unsur-unsur dalam teori Empat Tahap Proses Manajemen Humas dalam mengelola suatu acara yaitu Perencanaan, Pengorganisasian, Pelaksanaan, dan Pengawasan telah diterapkan oleh Humas Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif dan Humas Dimensi Kreasi Indonesia selaku penyelenggara.
