Abstract

Indonesian tourism is currently in the spotlight of many countries. Therefore the government is intensively carrying out development in areas that have tourism potential. The Ministry of Tourism has a target of 17 million foreign tourist arrivals. Planning a good hotel & resort is needed to accommodate the need for a place to stay in tourist areas, such as the Lembang area, Bandung, which is the location of the design this time. The architectural style that was applied to the design project this time was Neo Vernacular where adaptations were taken from traditional Sundanese architecture according to the location of the site. The ethos of Sundanese culture or the nature of Sundanese culture has been carried out since the time of Salaka Nagara. Through this character, the Sundanese people prospered and prospered for more than a thousand years. The characteristics of Sundanese culture are “cageur” (healthy), “bageur” (good), “bener” (right), “singer” (introspective), and “pinter” (clever / smart). The Sundanese also have a philosophy passed down from generation to generation, namely “Ngaraksa Sasaka Pusaka Buana” has meaning, preserving the sacred heritage on earth. The meaning of "sacred inheritance on earth" is the preservation of nature that is still maintained. Land that is still fertile, unpolluted water sources, clean, healthy, comfortable air has not been polluted, and the earth is still preserved in its ecological balance. So that if the Sundanese ethos or philosophy of life is included in the theme of architectural design in this project, green / sustainable architecture is the best answer. Keywords: Hotels, Resort, Neo Vernacular, Green Architecture, Sundanese Culture, Traditional Sundanese Architecture Pariwisata Indonesia saat ini sedang menjadi sorotan banyak Negara. Oleh karena itu pemerintah sedang gencar melakukan pembangunan di wilayah yang memiliki potensi pariwisata. Kementerian Pariwisata memiliki target 17 juta kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara. Perencanaan sebuah hotel & resort yang baik diperlukan untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan akan tempat menginap pada daerah – daerah objek wisata, seperti daerah Lembang, Bandung yang menjadi lokasi perancangan kali ini. Gaya arsitektur yang diterapkan pada proyek perancangan kali ini adalah Neo Vernakular dimana adaptasi diambil dari arsitektur tradisional Sunda yang sesuai dengan lokasi tapak. Etos budaya sunda atau watak budaya sunda sudah dilakukan sejak zaman Salaka Nagara. Melalui watak tersebut, masyarakat Sunda menjadi makmur dan sejahtera selama lebih dari seribu tahun. Watak budaya sunda yang dimaksud yaitu cageur (sehat), bageur (baik), bener (benar), singer (mawas diri), dan pinter (pandai/cerdas). Suku Sunda juga memiliki filosofi yang diturunkan secara turun temurun yaitu Ngaraksa Sasaka Pusaka Buana mengandung makna, menjaga warisan suci di atas bumi. Adapun yang dimaksud dengan "warisan suci di atas bumi" adalah kelestarian alam yang masih terjaga. Tanah yang masih tetap subur, sumber air yang belum tercemar, udara yang bersih, sehat, nyaman belum terkena polusi, serta bumi yang masih terjaga keseimbangan ekologisnya. Sehingga apabila Etos atau filsafat hidup orang sunda tersebut dimasukan ke dalam tema perancangan arsitektur pada proyek kali ini maka green / sustainable architecture merupakan jawaban terbaik.
