Abstract

The background of this research is the Podcast Rapot on issue 27 “Ambisi Menjadi Berbi”. In this Podcast there are 181 episodes which are shown every day on Thursdays. On Podacast Rapot where 4 friends, named Reza, Anka, Radhini and Abigail joined the Podcast Rapot group which discussed various topics from daily chats. In this study, the researcher chose Edition 27 “Ambisi Menjadi Berbi”, because in this episode the researcher has anxiety about the content of the topic chat in the episode, where the beauty standards of each individual vary. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning of Beauty Standards on the Rapot Podcast Edition "Ambisi Menjadi Berbi". The theory used in this study is Stuart Hall's theory with a constructivist paradigm approach. The research method is Reception Analysis. Analysis of the Reception Study uses the criteria for reading media texts, namely Dominant Readers (dominant hegemonic position), Negotiated Readers (negotiated positions), and Opposition Readers (opposition positions). results Based on the analysis and discussion of the meaning of the Rapot Podcast Edition "Ambition Becoming Berbi". The results of this study in general, it can be said that the audience's understanding of the Beauty Standards of the Rapot Podcast Edition "Ambisi Being Berbi", is included in the Opposition category (opposition position). Key Word : Beauty Standart,Reception Analysis, Podcast Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari Podcast Rapot pada edisi 27 “Ambisi Menjadi Berbi”. Dalam Podcast ini terdapat 181 episode dimana setiap harinya ditayangkan pada hari kamis. Pada Podacast Rapot dimana 4 sekawan, yang Bernama Reza,Anka,Radhini dan Abigail tergabung dalam grup Podcast Rapot yang membahasa beragam topik dari obrolan sehari-hari. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti memilih Edisi 27 “Ambisi Menjadi Berbi”,karena dalam episode ini peneliti memiliki keresahan terhadap isi dalam obrolan topik pada episode tersebut, yang dimana standart kecantikan dari setiap indvidu itu beragam. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pemaknaan Standart Kecantikan terhadap Podcast Rapot Edisi “Ambisi Menjadi Berbi”. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Stuart Hall dengan pendekatan paradigma konstruktivis. Metode penelitian ialah Analisis Resepsi. Analisis Studi Resepsi menggunakan kriteria pembaca teks media yaitu Pembaca Dominan (dominant hegemonic position), Pembaca Negosiasi (negotiated position), dan Pembaca Oposisi (opposition position). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan pemaknaan terhadap Podcast Rapot Edisi “Ambisi Menjadi Berbi”. Hasil penelitian ini secara umum akan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemaknaan khalayak terhadap Standart Kecantikan Podcast Rapot Edisi “Ambisi Menjadi Berbi”,masuk kedalam kategori Oposisi (opposition position).
