Abstract

The documentary film “Potret Manusia Silver” is a documentary film that raises social phenomena. In 2019 the world was shocked by the covid-19 outbreak, the spread of covid throughout the world greatly affected the economy of the community, including the people in Indonesia which caused many layoffs in various fields, this formed a new social phenomenon, namely the silver man. The author is interested in this phenomenon because in order to fulfill their daily needs they are willing to cover themselves with silver paint which is harmful to the body. In making this documentary, the author acts as a director who is responsible for all aspects from pre-production, production and post-production. The basic concept of directing used is approach, style, form and structure, while the concept of the documentary film "Portrait of Silver Man" uses a portrait or biography with an exposition approach. With this film, it is hoped that the public can get more lessons about the message from the film that is conveyed to the audience. Keywords: Documentary Film, Social Phenomenon, Manusia Silver Film dokumenter “Potret Manusia Silver” adalah film dokumenter yang mengangkat fenomena sosial. Ditahun 2019 dunia digemparkan dengan wabah covid-19, penyebaran covid di seluruh dunia sangat mempengaruhi perekonomian masyarakat tak terkecuali masyarakat yang ada di negara Indonesia yang menyebabkan banyaknya pemutusan hubungan kerja diberbagai bidang, hal itu membentuk suatu fenomena sosial baru yaitu manusia silver. Penulis tertarik dengan fenomena tersebut karena demi memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari mereka rela melumuri diri dengan cat silver yang berbahaya bagi tubuh. Dalam pembuatan film dokumenter ini penulis berperan sebagai Sutradara yang bertanggung jawab dalam segala aspek mulai dari pra produksi, produksi dan pasca produksi. Konsep dasar penyutradaraan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan, gaya, bentuk dan struktur sedangkan konsep film dokumenter “Potret Manusia Silver”menggunakan potret atau biografi dengan pendekatan eksposisi. Dengan adanya film ini diharapkan masyarakat bisa mendapatkan pelajaran lebih lagi tentang pesan dari film yang disampaikan kepada penonton.
