Abstract
PT. XYZ is a shipbuilding company engaged in the shipyard industry serving shipbuilding, maintenance and repair services and general engineering. Frequent requests for maintenance and repair of ships make the engine have to work optimally. The machine that is often used for ship maintenance and repair work is a lathe (R-OG-RR). The use of lathe (R-OG-RR) is not fully maximized. This study aims to measure the overall value of the equipment (OEE) of the lathe (R-OG-RR) to determine the performance of the machine and then identify the six major losses incurred to search for the resulting root searching. The results showed the average OEE value on the lathe (R-OG-RR) was 73%, the OEE value on the lathe (R-OG-RR) was still low because of the world-class standard OEE value of 85%. While the Six Big Loss factor is highest in the lathe (R-OG-RR) in the Reducedd Speed Loss of 18%. Keywords: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Six Big Losses PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan kapal yang bergerak di bidang industri galangan kapal melayani pembuatan kapal, jasa pemeliharaan dan perbaikan kapal dan rekayasa umum. Seringnya permintaan pemeliharaan dan perbaikan kapal membuat pemakaian mesin harus bekerja secara maksimal. Mesin yang sering digunakan untuk pengerjaan pemeliharaan dan perbaikan kapal adalah mesin bubut (R-OG-RR). Penggunaan mesin bubut (R-OG-RR) belum sepenuhnya maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur nilai Overall Equipment Efectiveness (OEE) mesin bubut (R-OG-RR) untuk mengetahui performa mesin kemudian mengindentifikasi Six Big Losses yang terjadi untuk mencari akar penyebab masalahnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata nilai OEE pada mesin bubut (R-OG-RR) sebesar 73%, nilai OEE pada mesin bubut (R-OG-RR) masih rendah karena standar world class nilai OEE sebesar 85%. Sedangkan faktor Six Big Losses paling tinggi pada mesin bubut (R-OG-RR) pada Reducedd Speed Loss sebesar 18%. Kata Kunci: Overall Equipment Efectiveness (OEE), Six Big Losses
