Abstract
PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the steel industry. With goods produced in the production process in the form of a safe. This research was conducted in the safe production process. There is waste identified in the lock fitting process, which is a process of assembling all the main components in the safe, namely the security component which has a security function in the safe. In this process defects that occur in the previous process due to production processes that are not according to the standard can be known directly and repaired directly in the lock fitting process. Lean Manufacturing is an approach that aims to minimize the waste that occurs in the process flow. Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method for mapping the production flow and information flow to a product at the total production level, as well as the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) analysis to determine the causes of process failures that occur on the production line. Waste identification begins with describing the current state map, then the waste analysis is carried out into the concept of 7 waste. After that, an analysis of the root causes of waste generation using fishbone diagrams, and FMEA analysts, to find out the highest RPN value will then be prioritized giving recommendations for the right improvement and in accordance with the problems and conditions. The recommended improvement given is that the 3 highest RPN values in the identified waste defect are to provide a JIG measurement tool design and a field work instruction sheet. Keywords : Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) PT. XYZ adalah salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dalam bidang industri baja. Dengan barang yang dihasilkan pada proses produksinya berupa brankas. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada proses produksi brankas. Terdapat waste yang teridentifikasi pada proses lock fitting, merupakan suatu proses perakitan semua komponen-komponen utama pada brankas yaitu komponen security yang di dalamnya memiliki fungsi pengamanan pada brankas. Pada proses ini defect yang terjadi pada proses sebelumnya akibat proses produksi yang tidak sesui standar dapat di ketahui secara langsung dan di perbaiki secara langsung pada proses lock fitting. Lean Manufacturing merupakan pendekatan yang bertujuan untuk meminimasi pemborosan yang terjadi pada aliran proses. Metode Value Stream Mapping (VSM) untuk pemetaan aliran produksi dan aliran informasi terhadap suatu produk pada tingkat produksi total, serta analisis Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) untuk mengetahui penyebab kegagalan proses yang terjadi di lini produksi. Identifikasi waste diawali dengan penggambaran current state map, lalu dilakukan analisis waste ke dalam konsep 7 waste. Setelah itu dilakukan analisis akar penyebab timbulnya waste menggunakan fishbone diagram, dan analis FMEA untuk mengetahui nilai RPN tertinggi yang selanjutnya akan menjadi prioritas pemberian usulan perbaikan yang tepat dan sesuai dengan masalah dan kondisi. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang diberikan adalah pada 3 nilai RPN tertinggi pada waste defect yang teridentifikasi adalah memberikan desain alat JIG pengukuran dan lembar intruksi kerja lapangan.
