Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali fenomena gaya hidup hedonis di kalangan remaja yang mengunjungi Pantai Indah Kapuk mengingat dengan banyaknya fasilitas umum berbasis internasinonal seperti Mall,Café dan Hotel yang ada di lokasi tersebut membuat para remaja tertarik untuk menghabiskan waktu dengan teman sebayanya di lokasi tersebut.Adanya modernisasi dan kemajuan teknologi perkembangan zaman juga berdampak pada gaya hidup serta perilaku seseorang khusus nya remaja dimana di umur mereka yang sudah bukan lagi anak-anak tetapi belum dapat dikategorikan sebagai orang dewasa ini terjadi proses pencarian jati diri sehingga mereka mudah terpengaruh oleh lingkungan sekitarnya. Peneliti juga menemukan hal yang menarik untuk digali pada penelitian ini yakni gaya hidup hedonis dapat kita temukan tidak hanya di lingkungan orang dewasa yang sudah memiliki pendapatan sendiri namun juga pada remaja yang notabenenya masih meminta uang untuk jajan kepada orang tuanya pun kerap ditemukan gaya hidup seperti ini. Karena, para pelakunya berpendapat bahwa hidup di dunia hanya untuk mencari kesenangan sehingga prinsip-prinsip hidup senang sangat penting bagi mereka. Hedonisme yang berkembang di kalangan remaja dipengaruhi dengan berbagai faktor dari hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa remaja cenderung mencontoh lingkungannya apa lagi dari kelompok orang sabaya.Faktor lain seperti masuknya budaya asing juga menjadi salah satu pendukung remaja menjalani kegiatan hedonis,karena masuknya budaya asing ini dapat di temui dalam berbagai hal.Contohnya dengan menonton film,melihat iklan atau melihat unggahan foto di media sosial dapat membuat para remaja lebih konsumtif karena ingin mengikuit gaya hidup dari idol yang mereka lihat. Penelitian juga akan dilandasi dari teori yang dikemukakan Patton yaitu Triangulasi dengan sumber berarti membandingkan dan mengecek balik derajat kepercayaan suatu informasi yang diperoleh melalui waktu dan alat yang berbeda dalam penelitian kualitatif. Kata kunci : Hedonisme,remaja,gaya hidup This study aims to explore the phenomenon of the hedonic lifestyle among adolescents who visit Pantai Indah Kapuk considering the many international-based public facilities such as malls, cafes and hotels in these locations make teenagers interested in spending time with their peers in these locations. modernization and technological advances in the times also have an impact on the lifestyle and behavior of a person, especially teenagers where at the age of those who are no longer children but cannot be categorized as adults, there is a process of searching for identity so that they are easily influenced by the surrounding environment. Researchers also found interesting things to explore in this study, namely the hedonic lifestyle we can find not only in adults who already have their own income but also in adolescents who incidentally still ask money with their parents, this lifestyle is often found . Because, the perpetrators think that life in the world is only to seek pleasure so that the principles of living happily are very important to them. The hedonism that develops among adolescents is influenced by various factors. The results of this study found that adolescents tend to imitate their environment, especially from peer groups. Other factors, such as the entry of foreign cultures, are also one of the supporters of adolescents undergoing hedonic activities, because the inclusion of this foreign culture can be meet in various ways. For example by watching movies, viewing advertisements or viewing uploaded photos on social media can make teenagers more consumptive because they want to follow the lifestyle of the idols they see. The research will also be based on the theory put forward by Patton, namely triangulation with sources means comparing and checking back the degree of trust in information obtained through different times and tools in qualitative researcht.
