Abstract

PT.CDM, one of the companies that produce lip cream matte that must be ready to face a tough competition. This is marked by the rise of other brands that enliven the cosmetics industry, facing this competition then PT. CDM requires a strategy to survive. One of the competition strategies by continuing to develop the products it produces to always be in accordance with the wishes of customers. The purpose of this research is to develop lip matte product to improve the quality of the existing product, using Quality Function Deployment method. The results of the HoQ Level 1 matrix obtained by Costumer Requirement that the quality of raw materials should take precedence. Then re-done next analysis to HoQ Level 2 to find Design Requirement got priority (12,04%) that is product with matte application but still light and longlsting when used. From result of analysis HoQ 2 analysis proceed to HoQ 3 that is Process Requirement that is Inspection on color mixing when heating become priority (15,12%) and from analysis result HoQ 3 analysis proceed to HoQ 4 that is Quality Procedure with priority (6,983%) that every process is required there is a written report and should be done Training refreshment procedure should be done 6 months that can be developed by the company. Keyword: Metalic Shine Lip Cream Application, Quality Function Deployment, House Of Quality, Costumer Requirement, Design Requirement, Process Requirement, Quality Procedure. PT CDM, salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang komestik yang harus siap menghadapi persaingan yang ketat. Maka untuk menghadapi persaingan ini PT CDM memerlukan strategi agar bisa bertahan. Salah satu strategi persaingan dengan mengembangkan produk yang diproduksinya agar selalu sesuai dengan keinginan pelanggan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Produk Metalic Shine Lip Cream untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk yang sudah ada, dengan menggunakan metode Quality Function Deployment . Hasil dari matriks HoQ Level 1 didapat Costumer Requirement bahwa (kualitas bahan baku harus diutamakan). Kemudian dilakukan kembali analisa selanjutnya ke HoQ Level 2 untuk mencari Design Requirement didapatkan prioritas (12,04%) yaitu produk dengan aplikasi yang matte namun tetap ringan dan longsting saat digunakan. Dari hasil analisa HoQ 2 analisa dilanjutkan ke HoQ 3 yaitu Process Requirement yaitu Inspeksi pada mixing warna saat pemanasan yang menjadi prioritas utama (15,12%) dan dari hasil analisa HoQ 3 analisa dilanjutkan ke HoQ 4 yaitu Quality Procedure dengan prioritas (6,983%) yaitu setiap proses diharuskan ada laporan tertulis dan harus dilakukan Training refreshment prosedur harus dilakukan 6 bulan sekali yang dapat dikembangkan oleh perusahaan.
