Abstract

This final project is to find out about the aspects of the zipper connection system on a raincoat, a raincoat itself is a waterproof garment that is used to protect the body from rain. The main function of a raincoat is to minimize the entry of water into parts of the body and clothes, but in existing raincoats, most of them still have problems with the parts of the body that have not been covered from the rain so that a problem arises in the raincoat. For example, the feet when wearing a raincoat are still not protected from rain, causing the shoes of the raincoat user to get wet. From the results of the author's observations and several interviews with raincoat users, it is still difficult for raincoat users to protect their entire body from rain, such as the feet which cause shoes to get wet. The negative impact of the problems that often occur in raincoat users, especially motorbike riders, when raincoat users want to use a raincoat but their feet are not covered so that the shoes they use get wet and the worse impact can cause itchy feet. redness causes irritation to the skin. The positive impact is that if the problem is resolved, the raincoat user has a raincoat zipper connection system that is full legs and has a connection system on the raincoat pants and the shoe covers, where the shoe covers are used to protect the shoes from rain and floods when was driving in the rain. from the results of this design will answer the problems of motorcycle raincoat users. so that the shoes of raincoat users don't get wet and can be used again the next day so they stay dry and comfortable when used. Keywords: Raincoat with full legs zipper connection system Tugas Akhir ini untuk mengetahui tentang aspek sistem sambung resleting pada sebuah celana jas hujan, Jas hujan sendiri adalah pakaian tahan air yang dipakai untuk melindungi tubuh dari hujan. Fungsi utama jas hujan untuk meminimalkan masuknya air yang mengenai bagian tubuh dan pakaian, tetapi pada jas hujan yang sudah ada, kebanyakan masih adanya permasalahan pada bagian tubuh yang belum tertutupi dari guyuran hujan sehingga timbul lah sebuah permasalahan pada jas hujan. Seperti contoh pada bagian kaki ketika menggunakan jas hujan masih belum terlindungi dari guyuran hujan sehingga menyebabkan sepatu dari pengguna jas hujan menjadi basah. Dari hasil pengamatan penulis dan beberapa wawancara dari pengguna jas hujan, masih sulit pengguna jas hujan untuk melindungi suluruh tubuh dari guyuran hujan seperti bagian kaki yang menyebabkan sepatu menjadi basah. Dampak negatif dari permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada pengguna jas hujan khususnya pengendara sepeda motor ketika pengguna jas hujan ingin menggunakan sebuah jas hujan namun pada bagian kaki mereka tidak tertutupi sehingga sepatu yang digunakannya menjadi basah dan dampak yang lebih buruk nya lagi bisa meyebabkan kaki gatal-gatal kemerahan meyebabkan iritasi pada kulit. Dampak positif apabila permasalahan tersebut terselesaikan maka pengguna jas hujan memiliki sistem sambung resleting jas hujan yang full legs dan memiliki sistem sambung pada celana jas hujan dan bagian cover sepatu, yang dimana pada bagian cover sepatu ini guna untuk melindungi sepatu dari guyuran hujan maupun genangan banjir ketika sedang berkendara dalam kondisi hujan. dari hasil perancangan ini akan menjawab dari permasalahan pada pengguna jas hujan sepeda motor. agar sepatu dari pengguna jas hujan tidak basah dan bisa digunakan kembali di hari berikutnya agar tetap kering dan nyaman ketikan digunakan.
