Abstract
Perancangan Interior SMP Mentari Intercultural is an international standardschool design. Mentari Intercultural Junior High School has a special curriculumto prepare its students to face new challenges, namely the Cambridgeinternational curriculum. However, the improvement of facilities to accommodatethe Cambridge Curriculum has not been carried out properly, such as the absenceof active learning spaces and the lack of multimedia facilities in the library. Inthis interior design, the goal is to be able to create the facilities needed by theCambridge curriculum learning with the New Normal COVID-19 health protocol standards. The design method consists of literature study, observation, andprogramming. This interior design uses the theme The Sunny Modern School withContemporary Style which can describe a school with an international curriculumand is expected to create an impression of enthusiasm, bright, and calm. As well as using contemporary modern style in its design. With this writing, the authorhopes that the design of the Mentari Intercultural Junior High School in SouthJakarta can be used as an alternative design during the New Normal COVID-19period in increasing concentration and motivation when studying in schools withCambridge curriculum facilities standards. Keywords: School, New Normal, COVID-19, Interior, Modern Contemporer, Cambridge Curricul Perancangan interior SMP Mentari Intercultural adalah perancangan sekolahberstandar Internasional. SMP Mentari Intercultural memiliki kurikulum khusus untuk mempersiapkan siswanya dalam menghadapi tantang baru yaitu dengankurikulum internasional Cambrige. Namun peningkatan fasilitas untukmenampung Kurikulum Cambrige tersebut masih belum terlaksana dengan baik, seperti belum terciptanya ruang belajar aktif dan kurangnya fasilitas multimediapada perpustakaannya. Pada perancangan interior ini memiliki tujuan untuk dapat menciptakan fasilitas yang dibutuhkan oleh pembelajaran kurikulumCambrigedengan standar protokol kesehatan New Normal COVID-19. Metodeperancangan terdiri dari studi literatur, observasi, dan programming. Perancangan interior ini menggunakan tema The Sunny Modern School withContemporary Style yang dapat menggambarkan sekolah dengan kurikuluminternasional dan di harapkan dapat menciptakan kesan semangat, cerah, dantenang. Serta menggunakan gaya modern kontemporer dalam desainnya. Denganpenulisan ini penulis mengharapkan agar perancangan SMP Mentari Intercultural di Jakarta Selatan ini dapat dijadikan alternatif desain di masa NewNormal COVID-19 dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi dan motivasi saat belajar di sekolah dengan standar fasilitas kurikulum Cambridge.
